Caernarfon offers a wide selection of shops and places to eat and is close to the lovely beaches of Ynys Mon (Anglesey) and the Lleyn Peninsula as well as the mountains and rivers of Eryri (Snowdonia National Park), including the renowned mountaineering town of Llanberis at the foot of Yr Wyddfa (Snowdon).
