We have just returned from a lovely stay in Nuthatch Cottage. The accommodation was very clean and the kitchen very well equipped. Watching the birds feeding was a delight. A lovely Welcome Basket was left for us which was much appreciated. Only one negative - the double bed mattresses were not the most comfortable for us poor soles with back problems. Apart from that everything was lovely and would certainly recommend a stay at this very nice accommodation.
A lovely cottage in an idyllic location overlooking the river with great views across to the other side. The accommodation is very comfortable, each bedroom has an ensuite bathroom. Very spacious and fully equipped with attention to every detail, even binoculars and ID book for the birds visiting the feeders in the garden. We loved watching them out on the patio and the house martens nesting under the eaves. Our dog was welcome too, great walks directly from the property! We loved the whole area, Elan Valley is stunning and we had a great day in Aberystwyth. Our hosts were located next door and very approachable. We hope to be back very soon, a great base with so much to see in this beautiful setting.
