About this property

Artisan Home 12 foot ceiling Loft in Space central great location off street

Set on half acre, we’re a wee bit modern with a dash of boho artist. Recently remodeled into an attached guest house (but completely private) it's nearly 850 square feet with 12 ft. ceilings, concrete floors and warm natural light from 2 steel six feet by five feet windows. Wi-fi, Hulu live and many apps, air conditioning and washer/dryer. Has a dedicated large fenced in backyard and we're pet friendly.

The space

Great for artists and writers and travelers or accountants. We're off the main street with private parking beneath a red sail. Plenty of lizards and birds running around and with the monsoons, many afternoons filled with a full soaking. It's a great place to recharge your emotional and artistic batteries. I think of it as loft in space.

Great location, excellent host, great place

The place has everything you need and is well appointed. We loved the unique art work. The kitchen and great room are perfect to hang out in and our dog enjoyed the fully fenced back yard. We loved the bathroom especially the cool shower Laura was a perfect host and even had fresh flowers and snacks waiting for us . Highly recommend

Best VRBO experience we have had

This was the best rental we have had in the years we have used VRBO. The rental was clean, cozy, and in a great location. It had many quality amendments such as large bath sheets, large TV with all the connections, toiletries, great appliances, and even a backyard for our pup. Laura the owner was awesome in welcoming us with cookies fresh flowers. She even left a blanket to use for our pup. I would highly recommend this property! Thanks Laura

A creative private property. Safe and perfect for enjoying the great weather.

The hosts were wonderful. She provided snacks and a bottle of wine. There were fresh flowers and lots of towels. Gorgeous bathroom and new washer and dryer. Unique art on the walls and big screen tv. Everything worked and I felt at home there. Large blue sail created shade for our car. I will try and revisit this wonderful property again! Great location too.

Perfect Central Base Camp

I stayed w/ Laura & Kevin 2 weeks to explore Tucson. Hip, spacious, well appointed abode I looked forward to returning to each day. It was quiet, central and really just perfect in a cute neighborhood, with Downtown 10 min and canyons only 20 min away. Big protected backyard for my dog too. Laura was UBER on top of every detail and so generous & kind. I would HIGHLY recommend. Sad to leave.

Exceeded expectations!

I moved to Tucson in early September 2018 and stayed at the Olsen House until purchasing a new home (about 5 weeks later). Laura was very welcoming; she personally oriented me to all the “how to” items; helped me unpack my car; and later brought over home-made pizza and fresh-baked brownies. Definitely a nice way to end four long days of cross country driving with dogs! The apartment itself was very, very clean; comfortable & completely furnished with high-quality bed/bath linen, toiletries, pots/pans/dishes/utensils, various small kitchen appliances, etc. The fridge/pantry were stocked with an assortment of beverages/fresh fruit/snack items. Original artwork and fresh flowers further exemplify thoughtfulness and attention to detail. The “central” location is highly convenient and the neighborhood quiet - often with families and/or dogs & their owners out walking in the evening. (Note: private, fenced yard for dogs was a lifesaver!) All in all, a great place to land. So happy I found it and highly recommend.
