Excellent

As soon as we arrived, saw the view, opened the front door & stepped in we all felt at home. There is everything you need & more & all furnishings and decor are very comfortable & tastefully done! We completely relaxed here as so peaceful even with the wind!!! The location is spectacular and views from every window! G eat only 2 mins walk to a small sandy beach which is often empty! Our dog loved it!!! Great to be near the coastal path too even though very muddy in parts!! We hope to return & wouldn’t hesitate to recommend!

Lovely Break away

Lovely stay at The Dairy. Very clean and maintained (few areas could do with a touch up) Good correspondence via Anglesey Lettings Brilliant location we really enjoyed our stay. Loved the welcome pack. Would be great for starter pack for log burner as when we arrived had to nip back out to get logs. Overall we had a great time and would definitely recommend.

Great cottage with sea views

We had a great time at the Dairy, despite the weather. Lovely accommodation, clean, well equipped, very comfortable and with sea views from the cottage. A couple of hundred metres walk and your on a small beach. Lovely coastal walks and a great base for exploring Anglesey.

Great say on Anglesey

Lovely cottage in a great location, a bonus of being able to walk straight from the cottage and easy access to the beach. The cottage was very comfortable and spacious. Very minor comment, no whisk in the kitchen, not cleaners for the glass for the log burner. Will enjoy returning in the future.

Beautiful cottage

Had our first stay with Anglesey holiday lettings at The Dairy. It's a lovely cottage in a remote but peaceful location just a stones throw from a pebble and sandy beach. The views from the cottage are amazing. The cottage has everything you need. It's like a home from home. Me and my partner love Anglesey and we have been to Anglesey many times but this is the nicest holiday let we have stayed in.

A Home from Home

An absolutely beautiful house which felt like home straight away. We were unlucky with the weather but the house was so comfortable it didn’t matter. The log burner was a treat in the early November storms. The kitchen had everything we needed and the super size bed was extremely comfy. The views of the moody skies, rolling fields and out to sea were perfect. We would highly recommend and can’t wait to come back. Our favourite house by far.

Lovely place to stay.

Very nicely decorated and furniture and beds very comfortable. The only downside, there were no tea plates. Location, perfect, easy walk to beach and nice country lanes to explore .

Beautiful cottage

On arrival we were very pleased with the cottage. It was warm, immaculately cleaned, beautifully furnished and decorated a with amazing views. We couldn't be happier. However, it was the first week in March and although the weather was kind during the day, the evenings were cold and on two evenings stormy. This wasn't a problem on Saturday, Sunday and Thursday but on Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday we had no heating at all and to be honest we were freezing. Sitting on the sofa watching TV with the duvet off the bed over us to keep warm was not how we had imagined our holiday. After emailing to complain on Thursday morning we did get heating that day but it was turned off again on Friday. It was such a shame because otherwise we really enjoyed our stay.

Perfect coastal cottage

This was the perfect spot for a quiet getaway from it all. When we arrived (a typical December evening, dark, cold and raining) we opened the door to a warm cosy wonderful atmosphere - the underfloor heating was on. The icing on the cake was the beautiful Christmas tree perfectly decorated with the lights twinkling. The woodburner was easy to light and was just what we needed after a day of walking. The sofas were comfy, the living room is huge. We watched a couple of DVD's and played some games in the evening. The kitchen is very well equipped. The beds were comfy, the bathrooms were clean. The beach is across the road along with the coastal path. Lovely views. Highly recommended and we will return.

Fantastic cottage

The cottage is fantastic. Really well appointed and comfortable in a beautiful location. The kitchen has everything you need, which was just as well as there aren’t many places to eat nearby. The bed was really comfortable as were the sofas. Would definitely recommend No 9.

Fabulous few days away with family for daily swims and walks. Perfect getaway

The Dairy was a perfect getaway for us and is in an ideal spot for coastal walks and private swims in the bay. First visit to the island and we loved it and will definitely return. I think we were blessed with wonderful weather.. tho we still enjoyed a blustery coastal walk from the door on the day the weather was not so good. The Dairy is spacious and homely, beds are comfy, showers are great and kitchen well equipped .. service was also good although the WiFi didn’t work while we were there.. someone was sent round to sort it promptly..but it was a BT issue. I’m sure that’s sorted now. Thanks for a wonderful week away
Response from VrboOwner on 17 July 2025

It sounds like you made the most of the beautiful surroundings with those coastal walks and swims in the bay — and we’re so pleased the property itself provided everything you needed for a relaxing stay. Thank you for your understanding regarding the WiFi issue. We’re glad we could respond quickly, and yes — we're pleased to confirm that the issue has since been resolved with BT. We really appreciate you taking the time to share your experience and do hope we’ll have the pleasure of welcoming you back again in the future.

Lovely Cottage in a nice spot

The cottage is spacious, well kitted out with quality fixtures and fittings and is well maintained overall. The location is a little remote, the benefits of this are a peaceful countryside environment 2 minute walk to a quiet beach- great for your dog! The Coast path is also a shor6 walk away and there are lovely walks in either direction along the coast. The trade off is a 10 minute drive to shops/pub/takeaways. Or a 15-20 minute drive to Holyhead where you have full amenities. Overall a lovely, good quality cottage.

Needs improvement in certain areas

Started holiday with no hot water or internet (chose this place as it stated there was internet), Dan from Anglesey holiday lettings was a life saver he fixed the hot water and even got us a starlink so we would have internet, if there is an employee award it should go to him, who ever does the cleaning needs speaking to as there was cobwebs in places that had been there a while. The en-suite needs looking at as it smells like stagnant water (we stayed here 7 years ago and it smelt the same then), the cottage is in a nice area close to a beach, the place needs slight updating if they are going to charge the amount they did, would I stay here again? = not unless there had been improvements also no clear instructions how to use appliances.

Highly recommended cottage with beautiful sunsets

No 9 The Dairy was an absolutely stunning cottage beside the sea to arrive at , we literally went 'wow' when we approached along the lane with the sea and coastline as a backdrop . Beautifully clean inside, modern but homely decoration , spacious and airy, plenty of storage space and well stocked kitchen equipment to cook . It was a nice touch to have some welcome items left for us too. We had the advantage of enjoying sunny hot days during our stay and sat outside in the late afternoon -we did miss having outdoor cushions for the chairs and a mortice lock with lever on the front door would have reduced our anxiety of accidentally locking ourselves out when popping inside to refill the wine ! Watching the sunset on the beach with a bottle of bubbly is a must ! We stayed with our Rhodesian Ridgeback dog and he loved the place too we enjoyed lovely long coastal walks without having to drive . Luckily we enjoyed really good weather, but had it been wet there was no space to hang wet boots/clothes . Outside the wire fencing and hedge were a bit low and the gate didn't secure tightly so it wasn't as secure as it could be for animals or young children. Wonderful stay - would highly recommend !
