About this property

Quaint, peaceful, & creekside! Alarka Peaceful Creek Cabin - Bryson City

Enjoy the cool creek side or cast a line for trout; sleep to the sounds of the rushing creek or a gentle rain from the metal roof. Our unique, rustic, and comfortable cabin is located outside of Bryson City - only a few miles from the beautiful Great Smoky Mountains National Park. The ten-window, secluded, enclosed back porch invites you to relax as you watch the variety of birds while listening to the rushing mountain stream just 30 yards away. Enjoy sitting on the deck down on the river or roast marshmellows at the creekside fire pit. The cabin has wireless internet. This quaint, two-to-five person cabin consists of an eat-in kitchen, one bathroom, one-bedroom with a queen-size bed, and a very large but cozy living room which includes original wide-pine flooring, original wormy chestnut wallls, flat screen Dish TV, a gas-log fireplace, vaulted ceiling, and comfy furniture.

Christmas Vacation
We took our 9 year old daughter and we all had such a great week. The cabin is clean and had everything we needed. Even though you are out away from everything, you are still close to everything. The river was so peaceful. It rained the last two days and the road to and from was very safe. Beautiful scenery on the drives. Will definitely be back. The only downside was there is no outside covering for when it rains.

Wonderful Getaway
Peaceful Creek Cabin is a perfect description. My wife enjoyed a much needed getaway. The cabin is very quiet and cozy. We loved sitting in the back room and listening to the creek. It was a perfect experience for us. Highly recommend this property!

Peaceful creek side cabin
This was the perfect place for a couples getaway for the long holiday weekend. Well-stocked kitchen made breakfast easy each morning. The fireplace made the whole cabin nice and toasty; we used it to get the chill out of the air in the morning and at the end of the day of exploring Bryson City and other local points of interest. We would stay here again!

After our first grandchild was born, Don and I purchased this sweet place so that we could have time with family. The cabin is approximately 100 years old and our son, who is a local building contractor, remodeled and made it in to this wonderful place. Our residence is in New Hampshire but we spend six winter months here at the cabin.

Why they chose this property

Couldn't resist the ever-flowing Alarka Creek which is just 30 yards from the cabin as well as the little creek that runs down the property in to the Creek. The property is private and picturesque.

What makes this property unique

Private and tranquil!
