The Napa Yellow House is a charming, colonial style house on the Historical Register off of the Silverado Trail which contains some of the best wineries in Napa. Two bedrooms with King and Queen sized beds plus a full size fold-out sofa bed in the living room and a bathroom with combo tub and shower. Luxury Aloe Vera mattresses with high thread count sheets and quality, natural fiber bedding. Walking distance to downtown with fantastic restaurants and entertainment. 2 blocks from the Oxbow Public Market, one of Napa Valley's best attractions with a number of restaurants, coffee roasters, wine and cheese shops, bakery and more! It's just a few steps more to downtown with endless opportunities for dining, wine tasting rooms, day spas and boutique shopping!! Outside dining area with gas BBQ, patio table with umbrella and potted flowers creates a lovely space for you to enjoy your days procurements or to spend time with family and friends. Soak under the stars after your long day in the hot tub!

** The house is small, just 786 square feet with much of the original hardwood floors and windows. If you prefer modern, sleek surfaces and new to old, you may not like this house. The pictures are accurate, please don't rent this house and then complain that it's small or old.

Load and start the dishwasher
Gather used towels
Remove personal items, remove leftover food and drinks and take out the rubbish
Turn off the lights and lock the doors
Please gather all used towels and put them in the bathtub or on top of the washing machine. If you have time, please wash a load of towels and start them in the dryer. APPRECIATED, NOT REQUIRED!
Please sort the garbage into the bins along the fence by the hot tub/driveway
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.
The City of Napa Noise Ordinance requires quiet time and no use of hot tub after 9:00 PM during the week and 10:00 PM on Fridays and Saturdays.

Beautiful little house and we so enjoyed it! It has anything you need and close to everything in town. We had easy access to restaurants and shopping. I definitely recommend the Wine Train as well. The station was just 5 minutes away. It was a lovely experience and we will definitely return to The Yellow House!!

This house was a short walk to the downtown area. If you’re adventuring out at night, a headlamp or flashlight is advised because the neighborhood streets have minimal lighting.The house has a long driveway and a nice backyard to bbq or to sit under the trees. The hot tub was clean but please be aware of the hours it can be used.The interior of the home was very clean and the neighborhood was quiet. Because it’s an older home, the doors can be hard to close and footsteps can be heard because of the flooring. The bathroom was small and had minimal shelving to place toiletries on. The water pressure of the shower was good and there was plenty of towels for bathroom usage and for the hot tub.

Marco and I met working at Swanson Vineyards in Oakville many moons ago. We now live in El Dorado County where we own vineyards and make wine under our own "Cappelli Family Wine" label. Marco is the consulting winemaker for a number of Sierra Foothill Wineries, and we love the lifestyle. We have two small children, a girl and a boy, and we think our lives are pretty great!

Why they chose this property

I have managed the Napa Yellow House for many years until we purchased it in the summer of 2017. It's a charming little house that we have always loved, so when the previous owners decided to sell, we jumped at the opportunity!

The house is located in a quiet neighborhood with tree lined streets and it is walking distance to the Oxbow Market and downtown!
