Enjoy “la dolce vita” in this stunning apartment just 3 minutes from the shores of Lake Como. On the ground floor of a charming condominium, with wonderful lake views, this is an apartment for 8 and makes the perfect holiday home from home for families or friends.

The interiors are elegantly contemporary, with stylish furniture throughout. The living/dining room has beautiful high ceilings and two French windows that open directly onto the large terrace. The room is furnished with 2 sofas, a flat-screen TV and a dining table and chairs.

The spacious modern kitchen, which is across the hallway from the dining area, is very well-equipped with a cooker hob, oven, microwave, dishwasher, fridge, freezer and coffee machine. There is also a small table and stools for quick snacks on the go.

Outside the living room is the private terrace with the original stone balustrade and stunning across Lake Como to the mountains beyond. The terrace is furnished with a café-style table and chairs shaded by a large parasol. An elegant flight of stone stairs leads from the terrace down to the well-tended shared garden.

Sleeping
The villa has 4 stylish bedrooms in total. Two of these are furnished with double beds and have storage for guests’ clothes and belongings. These rooms both overlook the lake. The other 2 bedrooms have 2 single beds in each.

The spacious modern bathroom has a full bath with shower, basin, bidet and WC
There is a 2nd bathroom with a WC and basin.

Location
The apartment is tucked away up 80 steps in a quiet part of Menaggio. It is within walking distance from several good restaurants as well as shops and the town’s beaches. Guests can take a ferry from Menaggio’s port (3-minute walk) to Varenna or on to Bellagio and spend a day in these famously beautiful towns.

For visitors who are looking for more excitement, there is Lake Como Adventures (40-minute drive), for a wide range of activities including climbing, canyoning, hiking and skiing in the winter months. In addition, guests can try sailing at Nobiallo (6-minute drive) or golf at Golf Club Menaggio Cadenabbia (10-minute drive)

If the delicious local restaurants and cafés inspire you to try your hand in the kitchen, the local farmers market in Via Stoppani (7-minute walk) takes place in the morning on the 2nd and 4th Friday of the month. Here you will find an abundance of local fresh fruit and vegetables, cold cuts and artisanal cheeses. Alternatively there is a supermarket 3 minutes away.

Milan’s international Linate airport is a 1 hour 40-minute drive from the apartment and Milan Malpensa airport 1 hour and 25 minutes away.
