Lenore welcomed us with a smile and a beautiful little beach house in the the heart of old Bonita Springs. We felt safe in this private home away from home for the month of February 2026. Sunshine every day, Gulf beaches, fresh seafood, and great music were enjoyed to the hilt. Loved every minute!
Delightful and refreshing home in a quiet family neighborhood across from a new library. Fun area to walk to parks and restaurants. Wonderful vibe to decompress. Easy access to central Florida activities. And close to the airport. Loved our time there.

Everything was as-advertised. Leonor was warm and welcoming and immediately made us feel at home. The home is in excellent condition and has lot of amenities. Comfy bedrooms, very nice living room. The outdoor porch and patio were perfect. I'm looking forward to coming back.

Thank you for choosing my home to stay, and as well thanks for your beautiful gratitude in your review. You are always welcome .
Sincerely, Leonor
We stayed here for 28 days. It was wonderful! Within walking distance to restaurants, parks and the Wonder Gardens. Small, well equipped, very clean house. Lenore was very friendly and accommodating. Nice front porch, screened in back porch and a patio. Backyard all fenced in, very private and quiet. We plan on coming back next year!
As soon as we arrived we were met by Leonor ( home owner). She gave us a tour of the home which made check in so easy. We found this home to be charming and cozy and had everything we needed. We felt like home as soon as we walked in. Grocery store was about 2 miles away which was convenient. The location was ideal. The neighborhood is very quiet and safe. Did so much walking both in the historic town and the park down the street. We will definitely book here again
The cottage is very bright and cozy. We were off the main drag of 41, but could easily access it when needed. We enjoyed concerts and art shows in Old Bonita by walking or sitting on the beautiful porch. Leonor is very sweet and has spent hours improving the cottage’s garden for the guests to enjoy. Thanks to the privacy fence, we spent many hours having dinner or lunch in the covered lanai or the deck in back while enjoying the garden. Thanks for everything Leonor!

Spotless little bungalow filled with lovely, thoughtful touches but not cluttered in a walk to everything location in historic downtown Bonita Springs. A bit of a hiccup with VRBO communications but easily resolved. Leonor was an attentive, warm host, checking in with helpful suggestions. My highlights? Spa treatments at Shangri-La, kayaking from Riverside Park, the lorikeet encounter at the Everglades Wonder Gardens, Heaven Shakes and Survey Cafe= multiple delicious visits. All of it a nostalgic visit to old Florida tourist days.

It was a pleasure to be attentive to your requirements and questions. Thanks, you are always welcome :)
Leonor's bungalow is cozy, comfortable (especially the beds) with a modern kitchen and many of Leonor's personal items that give the house a unique charm. The accommodation is convenient to the beach( anywhere from 15 to 30 minutes to Bonita Beaches, Fort Myers and Naples. We spent a lot of time at Lovers Key Sate Park which rents canoes, kayaks, etc. Leonor is readily available with suggestions and responds quickly to questions. Her warmth and friendliness added a lot of pleasure to our stay.

You are always welcome ! Thanks again for choosing my home for your vacations :)
Leonor’s home was the perfect place for me - as a get-away and setting for doing remote work. Her home had all the necessities and then some (beautiful plants, screened in porch, great wifi. The proximity was perfect- close to coffee shops, town square where there was live music (in March!) at the bandshell, farmers market, and newly built library. The house was immaculate.
Great walking and biking trails nearby; quiet neighborhood; walking distance to a few restaurants. Very comfortable beds. Appreciated the furnished kitchen during Covid.
Quite and private , yet close ( within walking distance) to park and eclectic restaurants. Leonor was very kind and welcoming. The house is cozy and comfortable. We are definitely planning a return visit!
We had a lovely stay, alas only three nights before heading home to Pennsylvania. Leonor greeted us upon arrival......she was warm and welcoming, and full of info on the house and surroundings. We loved that we could walk to the park and river, kayak the Imperial River from a local put-in down the street, and sit and relax on the front porch after a full day. The house itself was very well equipped and comfortable. You can't go wrong with this one!
Everything about our experience was as we hoped for and more. Our host was very hospitable and it is apparent that she loves meeting and hosting visitors. The Cottage’s appearance was exactly as advertised and close to everything‘Florida.’ I defiantly plan to return to Historic Cottage again!
