Spa House in Buxton, Derbyshire, sleeps 12 guests in six bedrooms.
Spa House is set over four floors and has six bedrooms including a super-king-size with an en-suite shower room, three king-size which can be converted to a 2’6” twin on request (one on first floor and two on second), and two 4' doubles (one on first floor and one on second). There's also a second-floor bathroom with freestanding bath, and shower rooms on the first floor and lower-ground floor, along with a lower-ground-floor cloakroom. Living areas include a kitchen, a lower-ground-floor utility room, a dining room with a woodburning stove, and a sitting room with another woodburning stove, and a lower-ground-floor cinema. Appliances include an electric double oven, a five-ring induction hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, washing machine, tumble dryer, and dishwasher, TV and WiFi. Outside, there is off road parking for 3 cars with public car parks close by for additional parking, a front patio, gravelled area, and outdoor furniture, and a rear enclosed rear patio with furniture. Today visitors continue to enjoy these magnificent buildings and gardens, as well as the Opera House's full programme and annual festivals of music and arts. There is good walking close by with rugged peaks to the north and gentle hills and dales to the south and a number of pretty towns and villages are dotted throughout including Bakewell, Ashford-in-the-Water, Castleton and Edale. The stunning properties of Chatsworth House and Haddon Hall are within easy driving distance and must be seen while visiting this area. A great base for exploring the Peak District.
