The Carriage House Large Suite is a fully private, pet-friendly getaway at 26 Pearl Street in the heart of historic Mystic, about a 3 minute walk to downtown shops, restaurants, and the river. Please note, the Carriage House is one building with two separate, private suites. They do not connect internally, and this listing is for the Large Suite only.

Designed for up to 3 guests, the suite is about 600 sq ft, bright, colorful, and genuinely beautiful, with a king bed plus a full size futon in the living area. You’ll have heat, AC, Wi-Fi, a fridge, and a fireplace.

The kitchenette is set up for easy meals and coffee, and the bathroom is a real treat, with an oversized soaking tub plus a rain shower, a perfect reset after a day of wandering Mystic.

Step outside and you’ll see why guests love this place. Both suites open onto a private brick patio surrounded by lush English gardens, with multiple tables for morning coffee or evening wine, plus a BBQ grill and a hammock for relaxed outdoor time. There’s also a large fenced yard, perfect if you’re traveling with a dog or just want a little breathing room and greenery.

The location makes weekends effortless, walk downtown for dinner, stroll the river, shop, then come back and unwind in the gardens. It’s an ideal setup for girls getaways, wedding weekends, anniversaries, or any trip where you want something charming, peaceful, and close to everything.

You’re also a short drive to Mystic Seaport Museum, Mystic Aquarium, Olde Mistick Village, and nearby coastal beaches in Connecticut and Rhode Island!

Beautiful cottage duplex on lovely grounds, with Herman the Golden Retriever as an added bonus! Susan takes great care in providing everything her guests might need for a wonderful stay, a quiet little paradise yet so close to town.

Beautiful Property With Great Location

Our weekend stay here was very pleasant. Accommodations were great and couldn't beat the location. Easy walk to Main St and otherwise quiet where we were. Thankful for the off street parking spot because otherwise parking would have been a challenge at times.

Fabulous Visit to Mystic!

This property is adorable and so close to the downtown area of Mystic! We loved how the cottage was decorated and truly enjoyed our visit. We had everything we needed for long weekend stay. Check in and check out process was super easy and we loved that our sweet dog Frankie was welcome. We would definitely recommend this property and would stay here again!

Gorgeous cottage

We absolutely love this beautiful cottage. The colors and decor are lovely. Susan decorated so beachy and eclectic. Great location. I highly recommend either cottage. Best part is its pet friendly with a cute courtyard in the back.

My husband and I came for a weekend getaway and this little cottage was just the ticket. We found it to be beautifully decorated and immaculately clean. Cozy and quaint cottage stay

Susan was exceptional in her hospitality. We enjoyed Herman's presence and his welcome as well as Susan's acceptance of my small senior doxie dog in the cottages. The courtyard adds to the ambiance of a small getaway and was perfect to relax after touring the town. We're grateful for the visit and time Susan took with us!

Charming & Great Location

We visited for a weekend and loved staying here. The cottage was super clean and well equipped, and such a comfy bed! The location was fantastic, walking distance from everything. The only thing I would suggest adjusting is the listing – it makes it sound like you have access to both cottages, when in fact you are only booking for one of the bedrooms. Aside from that, would definitely stay here again and highly recommend!
