APOV is not only beautiful outside, but inside as well. Locally hand crafted items, artwork and décor are found throughout this home. It is well appointed with everything one would need whether it be for cooking, playing or just relaxing. The fully stocked kitchen has high end appliances, a plethora of utensils, drinkware, dishes and cookware. Upon your arrival, you will find complimentary coffee, creamer and all of the basics supplied for you. Forget your toothbrush or other toiletry item? No worries... Soaps, toothbrushes, conditioner, an AMPLE supply of toilet paper, paper towels, linens and towels will all be present. My four-legged guests will even have his/her own dog bowls, leash and dog bed!

Comfortable furniture inside and out, cozy beds, high quality linens, extra pillows are just a few things that will ensure your stay at APOV is relaxing. Soaking in the hot tub and enjoying the ever changing and never ending views are icing on the cake!

Wonderful place

This is a wonderful place with a beautiful view. Relaxing and away but close enough to a lot of things to do - beautiful waterfalls, parks and shopping in Brevard and other locations.

A Thanksgiving to Remember

Just home from our wonderful stay at APOV and we are missing the incredible mountain view. We have traveled to SC or NC for the past several years to celebrate Thanksgiving and we are always seeking a home nestled in the mountains. Often we have sacrificed the accommodations for the view- at APOV we did not have to! The home was so well appointed, all the right touches. You can trust the photos online. The view was as incredible as other guest have described. I am a cook and I loved being able to prepare meals in an open kitchen while enjoying my families company as they played cards, studied, watched tv in the dining and living rooms. The appliances are top notch! Communication with our host was amazing- incredible detail with directions and such a willingness to answer any questions and to be helpful in any way. My husband said best accommodations to date, and my daughters said best Thanksgiving memories. Thank you for sharing your beautiful home- we will certainly be back again!

This is the one

This is the place. View cannot be beat. Fire pit, three balconies, a cabana-type thing (also with amazing views). The house was exceptionally well stocked - every detail considered. The host was easy to communicate with, friendly, and contacted me to make sure we had everything by needed for a wonderful getaway. The house’s location is a perfect launch point for waterfall hunting, mountain biking, fly fishing. Loads of Pisgah books, maps, and pamphlets at the house are helpful for planning, if you don’t know the area. A really wonderful place.

Incredible view and SILENCE

We love Brevard and all our stays offer amazing valley/mountain views. THIS home however is the first we found with water (river/lake) views and as mentioned in the heading....total solitude other than the sound of wings (hummingbirds) we first thought were bugs ;-}!! Some of the access roads were a tad adventurous but you get used to it quickly. The covered porch was the perfect addition and permitted incredible views in the rain and lightning striking the mountain tops many miles in front of us.

Recently, I married a true Brevard native, born and raised here and we are extremely vested in our community and in making sure our guests have an incredible experience from the moment you inquire about booking throughout your stay and even after first renting Arrowhead Point of View. Many of our guests return every year and sometimes even multiple times each year. Brevard and the greater Transylvania county in which it is part of, is our full time home and always will be. Unlike many other vacation rental properties owned by part-timers, investors or realty companies...we are here to make sure your stay at APOV is the best or even better than you can imagine it could be. Décor, cleanliness, attention to detail, landscaping, our availability if needed, guided tours, suggestions for great hikes, shopping, dining....we have the valuable insight as long time locals. We are outdoor enthusiasts, love our local music scene, are experienced with farming, canning, hunting and fishing and of course hiking and have knowledge of some of the most glorious waterfalls that are private or still known to only some who live here. Brevard will always be my FOREVER home. I cannot think of anywhere I'd rather be. I have traveled to many places and EVERY time I return home and catch the first glimpses of the Blue Ridge Mountain in the distance, a profound sense of peace comes over me...there's no place like home!!!
Whether you enjoy outdoor activities, music, the arts, antiquing, taking scenic drives, or just relaxing...Brevard is the perfect friendly small town with so much to offer. I often say that Brevard is a Big little town. For a small town, there is so much to see and do, the restaurants are incredible, the music is amazing, and of course, the waterfalls are never disappointing!
When I had the opportunity to purchase the house next to Simply Gorges, my first vacation rental. I had to make it happen. These two houses have, by far, the two most spectacular views of the mountains and Lake Jocassee that exists. Whether it's waking up every morning to the endless mountain views, dining with the backdrop of mountains, enjoying a glass of wine on the covered deck as the sun sets experiencing the array of incredible colors change as the sun dips behind the mountains....I am in awe of the beauty God has created and I have been so blessed to witness this at every moment every day. It is truly a gift to be able to share Arrowhead Point of View with you all!
APOV is located in a private neighborhood called Round Mountain that boasts many hiking trails, private waterfalls, a variety of wildlife and rare flora such as the Oconee Bell. Additional family, friends or colleagues can find accommodations with walking distance to APOV, making it the perfect setting for larger groups as well. I guarantee, they would all want to spend most of their time at APOV with you! We just terraced the back yard, re-designed the fire pit area and built a 12x16 Cabana Stage. We would love to help you plan the perfect gathering, retreat, small private event or romantic getaway.

The property also has a hookup that can accommodate two RVs, or event trailers, has an incredible new fire pit area and terraced backyard to enjoy.
FRIENDLY! We live in Brevard, native to this area and have the love and knowledge of its history, the forests and the local community. We are vested in our home and town and feel blessed to be able to share it with you!
