The Antico Casolare Uliveto (built in 1865) is nestled in the countryside of Cava de’ Tirreni, just 4 km from the town centre and the A3 highway. It enjoys a prime location with views of the valley stretching all the way to Mount Vesuvius, making it an ideal base for easily reaching the archaeological sites of Pompeii, Herculaneum, and Paestum, as well as the stunning Amalfi Coast, just a few kilometres away.

It is also located near the airports of Naples (50 km) and Salerno (35 km), as well as the Naples-Sarno International Circuit (22 km).

L’Antico Casolare Uliveto is surrounded by 50,000 square metres of countryside and offers a maximum of 16 beds and a spacious outdoor area consisting of a garden and terraces.
In 2024, the entire property was completely renovated.

There is a large garden with fruit trees, a barbecue, a marble table, a pergola, and outdoor furniture. Spacious terraces, equipped with tables and umbrellas, face the southwest side of the farmhouse, offering beautiful sunsets.

The available bedrooms are distributed as follows: 3 double bedrooms with two bathrooms—one en suite—on the ground floor (garden level); 1 double bedroom + a sofa bed in the living room and a bathroom (on the ground floor in the former cellars of the Antico Casolare Uliveto, a place full of charm); 1 double bedroom + a sofa bed in the living room and a bathroom (on the ground floor on the south side, where you can enjoy a wonderful view—access is via a steep staircase); 1 bedroom with a bathroom on the ground floor on the south side (fan).

Here you’ll find numerous cultural events, folk festivals, and food festivals that bring the town to life all year round, creating a lively and welcoming atmosphere.

Cava dè Tirreni is not just a pleasant stopover, but a place rich in history, art, and traditions. The historic centre is particularly charming, with its Borgo Scacciaventi, featuring ancient medieval arcades beneath which elegant shops, cafés, and restaurants are nestled. It’s the perfect place to shop, sample local products, or simply stroll while immersed in a timeless atmosphere.

The Abbey of the Holy Trinity, founded in 1011, is one of the town’s main historical attractions. This Benedictine monastery has played a central role in the cultural and religious life of the area for centuries. Inside, you can admire frescoes, works of art, and ancient manuscripts, and visit the library and historical archive.

Events and Traditions:
Cava de’ Tirreni is also known for its vibrant cultural scene. Among the most important events is the Palio della Pergamena Bianca, a captivating historical reenactment that takes place every summer. During the festival, the town’s various areas compete in medieval contests and competitions, set against a colourful and immersive backdrop that takes visitors back in time.

In addition, the city hosts numerous festivals and events, such as Natale Cavese, with markets and live nativity scenes that enliven the Christmas season, and the Festival delle Torri, an international folklore event that celebrates folk traditions with dance and music performances from around the world.

VIETRI SUL MARE AND THE AMALFI COAST
Just a few kilometres from here lies Vietri sul Mare, the gateway to the Amalfi Coast, famous not only for its enchanting beaches but also for its artisanal pottery shops, renowned throughout the world.

EXPLORING THE AMALFI COAST
From Vietri, the journey along the extraordinary Amalfi Coast begins—one of Italy’s most captivating scenic routes. With breathtaking views and small villages perched on cliffs overlooking the sea, the entire area is characterised by picturesque white houses that create a particularly charming atmosphere.

Continuing along the coast, the first stop is Cetara, a small fishing village famous for its anchovies. Next comes Erchie Beach, an enchanting hidden cove with a few bars and small restaurants, perfect for a moment of tranquility. Continuing on, you’ll pass through Maiori and Minori, until you reach the small and charming town of Atrani. Here, a stop in the small square surrounded by typical Mediterranean houses and the church’s majolica-tiled bell tower offers an unforgettable experience, especially when accompanied by an aperitif and artisanal gelato.

From Atrani, the route climbs towards Ravello, a true gem of art and nature, famous for its historic villas, Villa Cimbrone and Villa Rufolo, which host a prestigious season of concerts and theatrical performances each year in a setting unlike any other in the world.

Continuing on, you’ll reach the Furore fjord, known for its annual diving competition. Here, a small beach and a picturesque cliffside trail offer a unique experience. From Furore, you can rent boats to explore hidden beaches accessible only by sea or for day trips to Capri.

Continuing along the coast, you’ll find Praiano and, finally, Positano, a true masterpiece. This picturesque village, with its narrow streets, alleys, and houses clinging to the hillside, looks like a living nativity scene. With its artisan shops, boutiques, bars, and seaside restaurants, Positano is one of the most romantic destinations in the world.
