About this property

Condo II between the Canyons - location, location, location

This beautifully appointed home is located between Big and Little Cottonwood Canyon on a quiet culdesac in a beautiful east side neighborhood. The Condo has four bedrooms, 2 1/2 bathrooms, living room/family room, laundry room with washer and dryer. Full kitchen with dishwasher. It also has cable television and WiFi. There is a hot tub on the property that is shared with our other studio bungalow rental. The condo is very comfortable for 8 max. (No more than 8 guest total including children). Close to restaurants, grocery stores, parks and recreation center. The Space

The Neighborhood
There are several grocery stores less than a mile away. Quaint breakfast spots within blocks and a wide variety of restaurants and bars all within a 5 minute drive. Gas station within 1/4 mile. Cottonwood Heights Recreation Center 1/4 mile (indoor/outdoor pools, ice skating and workout facility.) We are also located within 35 minutes(less than 35 in most cases) of all 7 of the areas ski resorts! Refer to our "getting around" section for more information on that.

Getting Around
Our proximity to all 7 major ski resorts in the area is nearly unbeatable! We are conveniently located between Big Cottonwood Canyon (Brighton and Solitude Ski Resorts) and Little Cottonwood Canyon (Snowbird and Alta). The Condo is a short 5 minute drive from the mouth of either canyon, and then its a scenic 15-20 minute drive up the canyon to any one of the resorts. For those not wishing to drive the canyon, both canyons offer parking and bus transportation at the mouth of each canyon.

If you truly want to experience all the best of Utah's mountains, Park City is also less than a 30 minute drive! Once in Park City, you have Park City Mountain Resort, The Canyons, Deer Valley Ski Resort, and historic Main Street, all at your fingertips.

Downtown Salt Lake City is also a short 10-15 minute drive, with it's abundance of restaurants, bars, malls, and other entertainment options.

Great home base for skiing!

This home had everything we needed to enjoy our ski vacation. Beds were comfortable, it was very clean, full laundry room, well stocked with kitchen supplies and lots of room for us to stretch out. We really enjoyed the hot tub at the end of each day! Jackie was super responsive to a VRBO issue that occurred, she worked hard to resolve it for us before we arrived. Overall excellent stay!

Spacious and comfortable

Pros: Spacious bedrooms, plenty of closet space with hangers, power hot tub jets, quiet location, driveway parking for 1-vehicle. Cons: Can't think of any. I'd wouldn't think twice about staying here again. Close to Little Cottonwood if you want to get your alpine kicks ON.

Great location for skiing. Large comfortable bedrooms. Wonderful kitchen. Don & Jackie where very nice & helpful filling us in on places we might like to visit. The Jacuzzi was just what the doctor ordered after a long day on the slopes.

Everything we needed

The condo was comfortable and well furnished. Don and Jackie are very friendly and helpful. One suggestion is that they should post more photos of the back yard. It is really great.

Great ski lodge for Alta and Snowbird

The property was perfect for a quick ski trip. Traffic to the mountain was minimal, and the kitchen was stocked with all the necessary cooking supplies.

Why they chose this property

In a quiet neighborhood. Close and convenient to many activities. Utah touts that we have the "Greatest Snow on Earth", but Salt Lake also has a great aquarium, (Loveland Living Planet Aquarium) and Hogle Zoo along with many other activities for anytime of the year.

What makes this property unique

Located just minutes from the two Canyons that have the "Greatest Snow on Earth". In the summer, the canyons provide beautiful scenery for hiking and biking. Convenient to many excellent restaurants, and grocery stores.
