Oceanview: Walk to Poipu Beach, AC, Private Lanai!

Get away to our luxurious hideaway with killer ocean views, and is 2100 square feet in size, fully air conditioned, and has two bathrooms and three bedrooms. It is equipped with a gourmet kitchen, large TVs in the living area and master bedroom, making it an ideal choice for large families or many couples traveling together. Unwind on the private lanai, which features a gas grill and an outdoor dining table to enjoy al fresco dining with fabulous views.

We're conveniently located in the heart of Poipu Beach, with 2 restaurants, a deli, surf shop, and mini market are all within easy walking distance. This is a resort area with many more restaurants, a grocery store and shops located less than a mile away.

The pool that is pictured belongs to the Poipu Beach Athletic Club which is a 2 minute drive or a 10-15 minute walk away. Access is available for a small additional cost. Please inquire for details.

Introducing Oceanview, our grandest accommodation spanning the entire top floor of the home. With its 18 ft open beam ceilings and newly renovated living room, you'll find an abundance of space to unwind. Inside, a large dining table comfortably seats 8, while outside, a table for 6 invites al fresco dining.

The Master bedroom beckons with a king bed and a private covered lanai, offering seating for two. Indulge in the master bathroom's deep soak tub with dual shower heads and double sinks. The second bedroom boasts a queen sleigh bed with a plush pillow top mattress. Its accompanying bathroom features a deep soak tub, shower, and double sinks. The third bedroom offers twin beds.

Both bathrooms and the kitchen showcase elegant granite counters. The fully equipped kitchen includes a refrigerator with filtered water and ice, a stovetop with an oven, a complete set of pots and pans, dishes, glasses, and silverware.

We take pride in providing on-site parking, high-speed Wi-Fi, and a selection of amenities such as beach chairs, beach towels, coolers, and access to laundry rooms with detergent and dryer sheets. Our 24/7 office offers a dedicated desk and a computer/printer available for guest use.

It is best to rent a car. You can park in the parking spots available at the house.

Great condo for a family

We loved staying at Hideaway Cove. It was open and spacious and had everything we needed for a family. It is very convenient to the beach and we had a wonderful time. Would definitely stay here again.

Amazing views and location

We loved our stay here! The location was walking distance to Poipu Beach, which made traveling with an infant much easier when we needed to go back to the place for nap time. It’s really spacious and we loved sitting out on the lanai every morning and evening to enjoy the ocean views. Would definitely stay here again!

Family getaway for anniversary

This is a wonderful property. We needed three bedrooms and this fit our purpose. Walking distance to beaches, parks, restaurants. Great views also… we walked to the end of the street for sunset pictures and then realized the most dramatic was from the deck. The unit is tastefully decorated, has all you need kitchenware etc. as well as beach chairs, sand toys for the kids and a large cooler. Highly recommended.

Fun in the sun!

Our multi-generational family of 7 truly enjoyed the spaciousness of this home. We did not get in each other's way at all. We also loved the fact that we could walk a few steps and be at the beach. Dining on the lanai and watching the sunset was a treat. The house had everything we needed to make our stay comfortable and complete. We will definitely be back to enjoy more of Herb and Gale's great hospitality.

Vacation

First this property is in a great location. However, this property doesn’t show as well as the advertising pictures. The inside has been used over the years and needs a deeper cleaning for the grim and dirty floors and sticky dinning room table. The sliding deck doors are hard to slide because they were broken and pieced together with straps. All the glass windows were covered with a peel and stick dark sun protection film that had bubbled and looks like broken glass in some places. This totally obscured the views which would have revealed beautiful views of the water. This place needs some work.

Based upon this review, we have taken some actions to better the property. We replaced the cleaning crew. We have sanded down and refinished the dining table. The sliding doors are fixed as well. Our future guests will have a better stay.

Wonderful location, spacious accommodation, great view!

Our family of 8 had a wonderful comfortable time. The porch area for eating with a view of the surf was beautiful and so restful! Easy walk to Brennecke and Poipu Beach. Lisa, caretaker and Dale the handy man were very attentive to our needs. Some up dating would help the already lovely environment. Not all shades, fans/lights were working properly, but Dale fixed that. Coasters were broken, and wine openers didn't work. One blow up was leakey, but Lisa replaced it. Air conditioning was only in the bedrooms, it would have been nice to have center area air conditioned as well. One of the dryers died when we were there, if new washer/ dryer unit replaces it, the would be a great improvement. But overall, lovely accommodations and great staff. Welcome gift of sample Hawaian sodas and chocolates was a lovely touch.

Ocean View Villa

We stayed 3 nights in property. We enjoyed the large open ceiling kitchen/family room space that opened on to a covered deck that had a table with 8 chairs and a BBQ. There are beautiful views of the the ocean (about 1/4 mile away) through a line of palm trees. The sunsets from the deck were spectacular. The villa is a walkable distance (about 1/2 mile, we drove since we had young kids) from Poipu Beach park that has a protected snorkeling area that is ideal for kids and adults. The villa has boogie boards, beach chairs and umbrellas that you can use. We also purchased the owners access pass to the Poipu Beach Athletic Club that is located about 1 mile from the property. The kids loved the water slide in the pool and there are many other activities at the club that we would have used if we were here for a longer stay. We had 6 people in our family (4 adults 2-kids) staying in the 3 bedrooms (1 king, 1 queen, 2 twins). There is a circular indoor stair case that connects to the lower unit that would allow both the upstairs and downstairs to be used by a single larger family/group. We highly recommend this property.

Ideal Stay

We had a great experience! You have ocean views from the balcony and a short walk to the beach and restaurants. Make sure to get early to see the sea turtles that nest a short walk away. Or go to Brennekes beach to the sunset and more turtles and seals. The owner was communicative and easy to work with. An ideal spot if you have small children

This property is conveniently located. We were on the top unit of the property so we had a great view of the ocean. The area (property) was clean and beautifully landscaped. The unit was very spacious & nice with a lot of amenities supplied.

good location

nice location just few min walk to the beach. property manager responded quickly and helped with a late check out. overall we enjoyed our stay. we had 7 adults and we fit comfortably. my only "complaint" is the bathrooms were not in great condition. i left a note for the owner they can hopefully improve on that for the next visitor. they have umbrellas, beach chairs, boogie boards, and a cooler to use which is nice. would stay again

Perfect Location

This was a great home in a beautiful and convenient location. The beach right close by had excellent boogie boarding, and just down the way we saw turtles and it had good snorkeling, with a great cove for the kiddos. There was a laundry room with convenient use and there were boogie boards, a cooler, and beach chairs to use. The property had A/C in the bedrooms which kept them cool and comfortable at night. All in all, we really enjoyed our stay.

Good place to stay in Poipu Beach

We enjoyed our stay at this VRBO. The rental is an upstairs unit with plenty of space for our group of five.It was clean and well furnished. There was a short walk to poipu beach and local restaurants. Management was helpful. We recommend staying here.
