About this property
Cosy Cottage for two in the centre of Sedbergh
Welcome to our cosy cottage in Sedbergh. We hope you enjoy your stay. We have personally thought through all of the amenities and hope to provide you with the comforts of home.
Sedbergh is a small market town nestling at the foot of the Howgill Fells.
The Three Peaks are within easy reach and there are plenty of beautiful and spectacular walks in the surrounding area.
Sedbergh has a thriving local community boasting 3 pubs, a number of cafes and restaurants, several bookshops and other craft and walking shops.
The Information Centre has further information about local events and places of interest.
The central location of the cottage, opposite the beautiful church of St Andrews, makes it easy to access somewhere to eat or to collect a takeaway from the range of outlets available.
The Southern Lakes are approximately 40 minutes away by car.
•Lake Windermere; enjoy serene boat rides or thrilling water-sports in one of England’s most iconic landscapes.
•World of Beatrix Potter: A magical experience for families, where timeless tales come alive.
•Kendal Castle (25 minutes): Wander through ancient ruins and soak in sweeping panoramic views of the surrounding countryside.
•Arnside & Silverdale AONB (30 minutes): Explore vibrant wildlife, stunning coastal scenery, and tranquil nature trails.
As a self-catering cottage, you'll find everything you need for a comfortable stay.
The kitchen has a fridge with freezer compartment, a hob and oven, a kettle, toaster and microwave.
The cottage also has a smart television, Wi-Fi and internet access.
There is one bedroom with a double bed, chest of drawers and a small hanging cupboard. Next to the bedroom is the bathroom which has a toilet, basin and a bath with overhead shower.
Linen and towels are all included.
House Rules:
• Infants are allowed at the property. However, please bring your own equipment.
• Check-in time is 4pm and check-out is 11am.
• Smoking is not allowed.
• It is permitted to stop outside the cottage to unpack your car and then there is a car park 2 minutes down the road.
• Well behaved pets are allowed at the property, but please ensure that they do not sit on the furniture.
