Beck Foot Cottage is situated on a working farm, an ideal get away from it all with magnificent views of the Howgills, some of Wainwright’s favourite fells. The nearest historic market town of Sedbergh is a short drive away.. 1 step to entrance.

First Floor:
Bedroom 1: Double (4ft 6in) Bed
Bedroom 2: Bunk (3ft) Beds
Bathroom: Bath With Shower Over, Toilet. Oil central heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi included. Travel cot available on request.. Small garden with garden furniture. Private parking for 2 cars. No smoking. Please note: This property has a natural water supply from a spring. Please note: The access to the property is by a rough track and cattlegrid.. This cosy traditional 2-bedroom cottage is perfect for those who wish to experience British countryside in the heart of a working farm. An ideal place for the children and animal lovers to get up close to cows, sheep, lambs (in late Winter/early Spring,) and goats too! The entrance to the cottage is gated from the farm, providing an encosed area for small children and dogs should you decide to bring along your beloved pooch. The living room is traditional, spacious and cosy for relaxing evenings after a full day of exploring. There is comfy seating, a Smart TV for entertainment, and a few antique pieces to admire. The well-equipped kitchen/breakfast room is a great size with a traditional farmhouse table and lovely views over the rear of the property. The small garden is accessible from the kitchen where you can enjoy warm summer evenings with a glass of your favourite tipple. The bedrooms are situated on the first floor, the master being a double bedroom with ample storage and dressing table, and a smaller bedroom with standard size bunk beds, ideal for children or adults, and the bathroom has been refurbished.
Howgill is situated close to the small market town of Sedbergh which dates from Saxon times and is full of character from its cobbled streets to historic houses, some of which show the hallmarks of the old knitting and woollen trades. Sedbergh is also an official book town, a perfect spot for the avid reader to visit.
