Great house in perfect location

We really enjoyed our stay at Peter's house. It was clean, comfortable, had everything we needed and was in a great location. Would definitely stay there again for the next snow vacation.

Great Stay

The house is in a great location. A 5 min drive to Alpine for a day of skiing. There were 2 families (4 adults and 5 teens) and the house was perfect for us. Great communication with Pete (owner)

Alpine Meadows Gem

The house was very well appointed, excellent location and very clean. Peter was very responsive with our questions. The property is very accessible off the main road to Alpine Meadows and short distance to Squaw Valley for our ski vacation. Really enjoying spending our X-mas/Ski vacation in this home! We will rent again given the opportunity.

Very responsive, organized owner

We had a nice, long weekend at this home. The small lake in Bear Creek is perfect for small kids and very close to the house. The family room was a great spot to hangout with large windows, comfortable furnishings and lots of space. The rooming situation was perfect for two families with both masters having a private bathroom. It’s worth noting that there are many stairs from the garage to the house and they definitely make for an exciting hike for toddlers. It didn’t bother the adults but it’s good to think about if you have smaller children or older company with you. Pete, the owner was great and very responsive. He let us use his paddle board and we loved it. Thanks, Pete.

Awesome Tahoe getaway

We had an amazing time at this cabin over the New Year’s Eve weekend and we will definitely be back! The views from the house are amazing, the house is clean, the owner is very friendly and easy to work with, and the house has great amenities (the hot tub was our favorite part). Perfect space for my husband and I and 3 other couples. Close to a few ski resorts (we went to homewood and it only took about 20 minutes to get there) and close to Tahoe city. Thank you for letting us stay at our cabin!

Cozy and well- stocked, great location!

The house is very cozy and super close to the slopes. We enjoyed relaxing in the living room with a beautiful view of the snowy forest. Beds were very comfortable and the house was very clean. There was enough room for my sister's and my family(9 of us). There are a lot of stairs to the house itself but it is entirely enclosed,which might be a challenge for some. Thank you for the wonderful holiday stay!

Very well maintained, well furnished and well located mountain home with nice deck in forested area.

Family very much enjoyed spending a week here, particularly as the location is so terrific being in Bear Creek Estates very close to the Bear Creek Associaton's large pond with it's grassy relaxing area and beach. Also not far from the popular Five Lakes trail that is about a 2 hour hike up to some beautiful small lakes and the entry to the Granite Chief Wilderness.

Truly a home away from home

We could not have been happier or had a nicer time staying at this truly beautiful mountain home. The house is lovely, comfortable, roomy and well appointed and in a beautiful setting. Minutes from the slopes the location was perfect. And Peter could not have been nicer or more accommodating. Without question, we would (and will) stay here again!

Perfect for family holiday stay

Our group of 7 adults and a dog had a wonderful stay at Pete’s home. The house is actually bigger than it appears in the picture, everything is brand new and there was plenty of room for all of us. We cooked elaborate Christmas meals in the very well stocked kitchen. Booking the home was a smooth process. Pete was extremely responsive and answered my many questions patiently. He accommodated a change in our schedule. I highly recommend staying here and hope to be back!

Great house, great location!

We stayed here over Thanksgiving with a few friends and I can't imagine spending it anywhere else! The house itself was amazing – large, great amenities, impeccably cleaned, and well stocked. We loved the location of the home – super close for skiing, great area for bike riding, hiking, and it had beautiful views of the mountains. The owner, Pete was on top of all of the communications and ensuring that we had a great stay. We'd definitely plan to try and stay here again in the future.
