Your vacation begins in the great room, where towering ceilings, large windows, and an impressive gas-powered fireplace (available between October and April) create the perfect family gathering spot. Light the gas grill on the deck for an al fresco dinner, stack the plates in the dishwasher for easy clean-up, and cap the evening with marshmallows roasted around the firepit on the patio.

Spend your days hiking, swimming, or having a ball at the Helen Tubing & Water Park, and come home to share photos of your adventures on the free WiFi. Our host was very welcoming, we loved the game room- we stayed with our 4 adult children and their families so the pool table was used every night. We also loved coming in and seeing that the place was decorated for Christmas! Great place, we will definitely stay here again!

This house is HUGE! Had a great time in Helen listening to the music and food and all the wineries. Nice fire pit out back to wind down with. The cost of this house was very reasonable considering how big it is.

Relaxing mountain retreat

We enjoyed our family vacation in this beautiful home. The house is furnished with all the necessities that we needed. The communication with us before our trip was the best we have ever had when staying at Vrbo houses. On our day of arrival, we had all codes and went right in with no problems. Cozy Mountain Home

This cozy house had a nice variety of spaces to spread out. We had everything we needed in the kitchen, as well as entertainment options. We even had deer come up on the property a few times. The neighborhood pool was small, but we had fun playing with another family and made the most of it. They need to mop the floors better, but for the most part the house was clean. We would rent it again.

Everyone enjoyed their stay…the only issue was there were 12 of us and not enough beds. There was a pull out sofa bed listed, but none there so two people had to sleep on the couches in the family room. Other than that, everything was great.

No issues at all with the property and the house, all that was amazing. The issue was with a neighbor who accused us of making black marks on the road. Lol! Uh, did you not see there was construction redoing the roads? Claims she lives in the neighborhood there full time and was going to call the police on us. Wow!

Lovely home secluded in the trees

We ADORED this older home! The pictures don't do it justice, there is so much more to this house than the pictures show. If I was going to buy a home in the mountains, this would be it! From the front door you would not expect the home to be as large as it is. It's the perfect home for a large family, however there are A LOT of stairs / steps throughout the entire home. You cannot access any part of the home without encountering stairs or steps. If you don't mind that, then don't hesitate this one is a true gem! We will definitely be back!

The house was nice and the location was good. There were lots of things to do within a short drive from the main gate. I loved that there were different levels/rooms to accommodate a large family and the decor was adorable! Cons: Roaches & roaches! Floors were still very dirty from previous guests. The TVs were an issue to get connect at first (no instructions left by owner). The back porch is rotting in areas. My mother (160lbs) was walking back inside and her heal/foot went through a board! All in all it was ok. Loved Helen!!!!

Nice but NO place for trash which creates bugs in the kitchen

The home was very neat and close to downtown area. We loved the pool table for the kids. What we didnt love is there was NO place for trash. I reached out to the property and was told to leave it in the kitchen. Well we saw roaches in the kitchen which obviously doesnt make you feel clean. I reached out again and was told to "look for bug spray " There was none!! Ive always stayed at places that you take care of your trash on the front end but not here. This situation put a bad taste overall.

Although the house was beautiful, so many things were broken. It was freezing cold downstairs, no heat. Downstairs bed frame was broken, we had to sleep on the floor. Couldn’t get WiFi or TVs to work. Vacasa customer service was not helpful. We wasted a lot of time on our vacation trying to get issues fixed that were never resolved. Also the house has a ton of stairs and the listing doesn’t mention it. We had babies with us and all the stairs was dangerous.

Check in needs improvement

Check in was horrible. After I purchased, was told that we had to be at property by midnight or would be locked out. Changed our plans, and got there at 10:40pm and no one was there, luckily someone that was renting another property in the resort let us in or we would have had no where to stay that night. Property Manager states she has no control over when resort has people at gate. We got in Saturday evening and could not get the fireplace to work, called Manager and was told we should have called earlier and that it was really hard to lite, so no fire. House was nice, but would not recommend if you will arrive after 5pm because you may not have anywhere to stay.

Awful Rental Experience

Keypad on door would not work, stood in cold rain trying to get in house for 30 minutes. Did not get fixed until 3rd day of stay. No heat on lower level and fireplace inoperative, super cold for my guests to sleep in. Roaches in kitchen area. Entire house smelled of sewage last 2 days of our stay. Living room TV did not work. Had to use personal computer for tv for the kids. Filed complaints with Vacasa and have yet to hear back from anyone after 9 days thus far. Awful experience through and through.
