we are appalled at the state and condition of the rental. We have not slept for two days it feels dirty. On arrival we couldn't believe the appearance , house looks dirty from the outside and requires painting, the garden is overgrown with weeds. The living room has large brown stains on the ceiling , there were crumbs on the settee and the blankets on settee were smelling requiring a wash. The remote control for tv is damaged with tape holding it together!! Looking out the front window all we could see is cobwebs and a terrible garden view to front. In the kitchen there are cob webs hanging from light fitting and it is thickly covered with dust all along it clearly visible. The socket on the wall is not fitted properly and is a safety issue, wouldn't pass a proper electrical property inspection, and where a socket has been previously fitted hasnt been filled properly and looks awful. The new door on downstairs toilet has been fitted but not painted so looks out of place. Some of the paintwork in the hall and stairs needs touching up . My wife hurt herself when she sat on the downstairs toilet as it is all loose and slid to the side when on it. The water tap in toilet is loose and requires tightening.I could go on about towels like cardboard etc and overall bad experience and feel terrible with our stay. We do not recommend this place until it has been brought up to a decent standard. Should be removed from VRBO.wont let me submit pics, please contact me for pics
