“Beautiful location, but the hospitality did not match the setting.Guests traveling to Ortigia should be aware that parking and restricted driving zones are a serious issue. We received no meaningful warning or parking guidance despite this being a very common problem for tourists. Our vehicle ended up being towed, costing us both money and a large portion of our day.The most disappointing part was the lack of concern or assistance afterward. We were essentially left to figure everything out ourselves in a stressful situation in a foreign country.The business appears far more focused on processing tourists than actually supporting guests. I would strongly recommend future travelers research parking independently and consider alternative accommodations/businesses that are more proactive and guest-oriented.”
