Best Stay in the Tahoe Keys
We enjoyed the gameroom ! The large theater screen in the Primary suite and the view fro the Hot Tub of famous Mount Tallac . The Check in was seemless and the help was perfect for a memorable stay.
!
The house was suitable for our family of 13 and our 1 dog, we fit comfortably and were able to have a great family Christmas. Whenever we had a question or issue the host Sarah and Julio were very responsive and got right back to us. The house sits right on the Tahoe Keys and the back yard was fully fenced so the kids could play and be safe, same with the dog being outside. We had 2 feet of snow so playing out in the snow was fun.
The house was perfect for 3 families. Lots of extras, great kitchen, plenty of cookware, and comfortable beds.

Great vacation house with all the amenities you could ask for!
I would strongly recommend this house and would stay there again in a second! It has a great backyard to hangout, a hot tub and a kayak for you to use. The rooms are great size and you can tell they take great care of the house. The owners are also very nice and make you feel at home!!

Our Family Had a wonderful Stay in Tahoe. The Cabin is like being at home but on vacation. We played card games and enjoyed the evenings watching the sunset from the upper deck and hot tub. Next year we will book at this same water front cabin.

Had a wonderful time. Property was very adequate and spacious. Your cleaning crew needs to be a little more thorough. Shower in master bedroom was great! Everyone wanted to use it! Overall a very happy time!

Great to hear you enjoyed the home we will talk with cleaning crew and we also just put in a new kitchen !!! with Granite counter tops and stainless still double appliances. two Stoves and two dishwashers and two refrigerators
We had a lovely stay at this house. There is ample space for multiple families, a well stocked kitchen with two ovens and microwaves, two fridges, tons of toys for kids, a high chair and bath for babies, two great outdoor spaces for enjoying the Keys' views, comfortable beds, and an awesome garage turned game room. There was one bathroom that had some black mold, which we avoided by using other showers. Would definitely stay again!

Great location, great for groups
I loved the location and the house was huge. It was literally equipped to handle 20 people. The price was great for the size. The games in the garage were awesome too.
The only negative was that wifi was only strong in the master and t-mobile had poor reception so connectivity was a challenge.

House is in a perfect area appliances could use a little help and they advertised three hot tubs and a steam room. Couldn’t get the steam room to work and the ONE hot tub is a two man and it was working hard to stay at 95 degrees. But overall we all had a great time and the rooms were excellent and the location could not be beat.

Nice Comfortable Large Home
This is a very nice, large home. The second floor master suite is very nice. The home is very comfortable and can accommodate a large group easily. Our little dog settled in nicely and felt right at home. The game room is great for those idle moments. And the service from the Wards is excellent.
Just 2 minor issues: the hot tub location is nice for the view, but can be windy and the stairs are tough; I do wish the kitchen had some stainless frying pans instead of just non-stick (of course, I may have not found the stainless pans).
Great location as well: community indoor pool is wonderful.

Great location and ammenities!
Our family of 14 truly enjoyed our time at this water front home during the week of July 4. The view from the rooftop hot tub was spectacular. A two-person kayak and a paddleboard were at the house for use, which was amazing for both adults and kids. Being able to walk out the back door and down to the water access was great. For our littler ones, the completely fenced in back yard worked exceptionally well. Kitchen was stocked well with dishes and utensils. There was plenty of room to spread out, and our 5 kids aged 6-10 loved sleeping all in the same room. The owners were exceptional when difficulties came about. The local area has a lot to offer with only a short drive (depending on traffic).

The house was great for my large family!!
The house was perfect for our large family of 15. It had everything we needed. The cousins truly enjoyed the neighborhood, and biking on the trails. The house (except for the Master Bedroom) is in need of updating...especially the kitchen. Also....we loved the roof-top patio, since one of my daughters majored in astro physics in college, she brought her telescope, and it was amazing. We did get two complaints that we were exceeding the 'Noise' level, which we found very odd since we were very cordial and did not want to be fined $1000 for every complaint, so we were very aware of what was going on at all times. That put a little damper on the week-end, thinking there was a grumpy neighbor somewhere watching our every move. Other than that it was fabulous. Thank You for allowing my family to enjoy and truly have an amazing Labor Day Week-end.

Great place
This place was great. The master suite and the kitchen are 5 stars. The rest of the house has a lot of little things wrong as far as cosmetic but nothing else. Sleeps a lot, beds are comfy, wifi not to good. All TVs not conecting but a cable guy came out next day randomly and fixed it. It's all about the location and the capacity to fit a large bunch. We had a great time.

Great for family with teens
Lots of toys both in house and at water.
No air conditioning with 100 degree temperatures only a small box fan with broken blade to move air.
Not senior friendly or accessible. House is loaded with trip and fall hazards.
Not nearly as nice as other rntals we have had in Keyes

Fun Time
Check in easy. Communication good but did not contact manager except for spa. Location central though the area is old and a bit rundown. Good value. There are many amenities, most we didn't use or try. Master suite is large; no closets. did not use sauna, fireplace, microwave, jet tub, coffee maker, wine cooler or copier. Great view. Never an issue with no hot water. Other rooms used upstairs had carpenter ants, a crib, Xbox, some old children's toys. The flip flop room sleeps eight and is a large room. However, there is only one small lamp to light the room at night. All beds were comfortable. The garage has a ping pong table but we couldn't figure out how to set up the net. Pool table was great fun. Shuffleboard was fun as well. No kayak but a SUP was available. Of the two water bikes only one worked. Cornhole also available. The gate to the lake is not locked, the indoor stairs are open and infants may fall easily. Outdoor stairs are floating and go up to the 2nd floor as well as the top. There are two firepits-one on top with some broken furniture and one by the lake that didn't ignite. The spa was filthy upon arrival but we let the manager know and it was fixed. However, it only stayed heated for one day and we could not figure out how to adjust the temperature. So, we used it way less that we planned. This spa seats four and with a property that will sleep 16 we all felt it should be much bigger (there were 6 adults and two preschoolers). There is a bit of sand, with toys for kids. High chair and infant bath tub also available. A few steps to the entry and then again after entering. Kitchen was good size. Has been remodeled. It would appear that a some updates have been done while other areas are still old. We could not really figure out the microwaves (did not reheat well). W/D worked well. Plenty of TV's but couldn't get on and off to work (probably our issue). Lots of cookware and dishes but no cupboard space for groceries. One major burner on range top did not light. Tap water tasted great. Knives were terrible, but you expect that. Some spices available. Grocery stores nearby. One of the dishwashers is missing wheels so you need to lift the rack in and out.

Family Fun retreat
The house was perfect for our family ! Had everything we needed and it snowed during our stay and the fresh snow made it stunning to view the mountains from the third story deck. The kids played in the snow building snowman and tossing snow balls at each other . The yard has a slop so they also used the free sleds to slide in the back yard. A true family fun getaway!
Absolutely love this rental great for a big family vacation home. With lots of extras in the house jacuzzi in master bed and outside and has spacious bathroom and double appliances in the kitchen. Also has games room and paddle bike for extra activities. You will love this place if you rent it worth every penny
The Tahoe Keys is a beautiful location for a family getaway. The house we rented was everything we expected and more. We stayed during a snow storm so we didn’t get to enjoy the hot tub or the rooftop patio. My family definitely wants to come back during the summer so we can utilize the kayaks and boat rentals. The manager went above and beyond to make sure our experience was good. I give it 10 out of 10!
Take what I say with a grain of salt. Our group is very low maintenance and blue collar. We had tonsave to rent this house. I had three requirements...fit our large group, each couple have their own bedroom with normal size beds, and have a hot tub. This rental met those needs but...it wasn't perfect.
Pros
Huge house
Kids have their own room and bathrooml
Nice kitchen
Pool table, shuffle board, ping pong
Hot tub
Plenty of towels
Enough sitting room
Nice backyard
Easy check in
EXCELLENT communication
Cons
A lot of wear and tear in the house (to the point I documented all the problems and texted the manager everytime I found something new). Holes in walls, scuff marks on walls, etc.
Only one seat of the 4 seat hot tub had working jets and it wouldnt retain heat. We boiled pots of water to make it work for us.
Cleanliness was ok. We found rice and a dog cookie in the couch (we didn't bring dogs or eat rice while there).
The kitchen was updated but a handle was missing on one sink faucet, missing wheels on the dishwasher racks, garbage disposal not working.
Master bath hot water faucet not working (manager came and repaired the next day).
One bedroom is in the garage with a heater that makes horrible noise and the room is freezing in the winter and far from a bathroom.
Would we rent this house again...maybe. It was a big expense for our large group. The holes in the walls didn't bother us but when the hot tub didn't work right and you couldn't fill the jetted master bath tub it was a bummer. We don't have hot tubs at home and it was one of the reasons we booked. So it met our needs but for the cost and the fact we splurged on a house we thought was going to be higher end....it disappointed a little. I would say 3.5 stars but that isn't an option.
We met my daughter and son with their families to spend a week together, plus our dogs. There was plenty for everyone to have a great time. The kids loved playing in the sand, dogs were safe in a fenced in yard, plenty of games to play. Julio was very responsive and gracious, he made sure we were taken care of and happy with our stay. We’d come back again.
