Villa Torricella is quietly located in the outskirts of Leverano a 25-minute drive from the centre of Lecee and just a 10-minute drive from the popular beaches of Porto Cesareo and Punta Prosciutto.

The property enjoys air-conditioning throughout and is laterally arranged with large windows and an extensive terrace that allows independent access to the living space and 4 bedrooms. A spacious veranda provides a natural extension to the kitchen/dining room, perfect for alfresco dining and leads down to the pretty landscaped garden, sun terrace and pool. There’s also a solar powered shower to cool off after a day at the beach and a BBQ.

Inside, the property centres around a bright, contemporary living space. Here guests can relax on one of the large sofas, enjoy the smart flatscreen TV and look out to the garden through floor-to-ceiling glass doors. This open plan area also incorporates the kitchen and enjoys a fireplace that sits between the living and dining rooms. The kitchen is fitted with a Mokka espresso machine, an induction hob, an oven, a microwave, a dishwasher and a fridge freezer.

Villa Torricella is ideally situated on the outskirts of the lively town of Leverano, known for: the greenhouses of flowers, fruits, wine cellars and craft beers. Guests can take a tour and sample the local beer over a meal at the popular Birra Salento micro-brewery (a 5-minute walk). Wine lovers will enjoy a visit to Cantina Vecchia Torre and Conti Zecca which are both less than a 5-minute drive away.

For culture, the beautiful Baroque city of Lecce (a 20-minute drive) is a must-visit and is famous for its architecture, rich history, museums and charming squares. Here every Monday, Wednesday and Friday morning visitors will also find the best local produce at Mercato di Campagna Amica di Parco Tafuro.

There are also two supermarkets within a 5-minute drive in Leverano where guests will also find numerous restaurants and shops.

Salento’s marine protected coastline is also in easy reach, renowned for its crystal-clear waters and sandy shores. Popular destinations include Porto Cesareo (a 10-minute drive), Torre Lapillo and Sant\'Isidoro which are both a 15-minute drive away. The historic towns of Copertino (a 5-minute drive) and Nardò (a 15-minute drive) are also easily reachable.
