Short break
This place is fantastic, the accommodation, the view and the attention to detail is so good.
We stayed at Birch Lodge’ a 2 bedroom upper level lodge’ with superb views to the loch.
The accommodation is clean, modern and the lodge has everything needed.
The hosts are welcoming and friendly and can be easily reached.
The area is stunning, we did only 3 days’ but managed to do a 20 mile bike ride via the excellent bike paths towards Oban, we did Glencoe Lochlan walks visited Fort William, Port Appin and Oban a few times and the location of the lodge at Appin is perfect for visiting all these places.
A must is the hike up to the hidden gem of The Fairy Bridge at Glen Creran which we did early evening and this was a must.
Can’t fault the accommodation, the location is the perfect place to base yourself to get to all the places that are around.
The views are stunning from the lodge’ highly recommend staying here.
The numerous walks, the bike tracks and the scenery is just superb everywhere you go.
Would return’ we loved it
Thank you

Thank you so much for the lovely review despite the miserable weather you had. The cycle track is just wonderful and so handy to be so close to the park we are very lucky. Thanks again it really cheeres up up when people take time to review us. Julie x
