Belvedere flat with panoramic view of Corfu old town

The apartment is located in the heart of the old town of Corfu in a historical building from the 1820s in front of Faliraki beach, next to the Palace. It is a spacious flat at the fourth floor, full of light that offers two main bedrooms plus a smaller room that functions as a kitchenette and a cozy sleeping area, ideal for a small child (the access is from the main big bedroom). It also provides a large bathroom with a shower and a big bathtub. In the middle of the flat there is an impressive dome where is the dining room area and from there you have access to the bedrooms. Next to this dining room there is a small separate room with staircase that takes you up to the Belvedere at the top of the roof, surrounded by a balcony that gives you a breathtaking view of the old town.
The building at the ground floor provides a comfortable elevator in order to access the flat.

Why they chose this property

I love this neighbourhood because I was born and raised there. While being in the centre of the old town living there is also peaceful and quiet. I strongly remember my childhood when my grandparents used to take me swimming at the small beach in front of our house every morning. We steal enjoy the walks to the palace and the little garden where you can relax by hearing the waves and the birds and smelling the sea.

What makes this property unique

The house location and architecture is what makes it unique. The view from each widow is unrepeatable and the Belvedere balcony at the top of the apartment offers a panoramic view of the old town, the palace and the sea. The house is also decorated with traditional furniture giving an authentic experience living there.
