The villa was very nice and well located, lovely access to the beach and a great restaurant. The only downside were the neighbours dogs. They seem to be let out into the garden in the evening, stay out all night and, unfortunately, bark all through the night. All of us experienced being woken by them and then struggling to get back to sleep.. I’m afraid the villa will go down as the “Dog Villa” in family holiday history.

The Villa was very spacious, quality furnishings, fabulous outdoor spaces. The terrace overlooking the sea was magnificent, a beautiful breeze. Perfect for a large family group with enough space for everyone (particularly) teenagers to have their own space. Close to Corfu Town, Taverns on the beach was great.

Kontakalivilla in Corfu

We had a really lovely holiday. The villa was fantastic. The outside patio area overlooking the sea was really gorgeous & the views from it were beautiful. We hired a car to explore the island & we visited a few beach clubs. Locally we enjoyed the beach by the villa which has a lovely Taverna that we ate in a few times. We also went to a lovely fish restaurant that was five minutes walk from the villa. Kontakali is about 20 minutes walk from the villa & we walked in to it for drinks & dinner a few times throughout our stay.

Beautiful, quiet and exclusive

We had the best time. Artemis has been super supportive and the house is simply beautiful. Very close to Corfu Town, literally on the beach. Couldn’t ask for more. Strongly suggested.

Absolutely stunning property, great stay

We had an amazing week in Corfu, the villa was even better than expected, the views were stunning and we lived being able to swim on the beach and then walk back up to the villa to chill. We hired a small car to sight see and enjoyed a boat ride from kbboathire at the kontakali beach resort. We also loved the company of the cat! Would recommend without hesitation!

Wonderful kontokali Villa!

We had a lovely time for 10 days. 6 of us reunited for a wedding in gouvia. Location was perfect for us! The outdoor space is divine, with lovely views and a very short walk to the beach. It’s not the best beach in Corfu but paradise compared to American beaches! The owner was very responsive and everything went smoothly. Will definitely come back if we are a large group!

Delightful villa with wonderful view

Charming property only a 15minute drive from Corfu Town and the airport. Spacious and well-equipped. Had a great patio with big outdoor dining table and very comfortable chairs. Highlight was the extended patio area with beautiful view overlooking the bay and was partially shaded so perfect throughout the day. Private path straight down to beach below and outdoor shower to keep any sand away from the house. Would recommend!

A perfect getaway

Artemis’ home is a beautiful place to stay outside of Corfu town. The home itself is well equipped and feels very private. The terrace is beautiful and I could spend hours out there reading and enjoying the breeze and sounds of the cicadas. The beach is just steps away and there are a few oceanfront restaurants to enjoy, although we cooked most of our meals in the well-equipped kitchen. The location is close enough to Corfu town to visit and explore a bit but far enough away that it doesn’t feel too crowded. The beds were all very comfortable and we enjoyed a very relaxing holiday here. We wouldn’t hesitate to return! Thank you for a great stay.

Tremendous stay in Gouvia

Artemis house can't be better located with direct access to the sea / beach and to a local restaurant . Terrific views from the garden . The house is well equipped with a good distribution of rooms . The air conditioning was welcome during the heat wave that Corfu faced during our stay. The surroundings are quiet and the nearby hotel is not generating disturbance . Easy to rent boat there. The house is close to Gouvia which offers all facilities and the drive to Corfu town is short. We highly recommend

Heaven in Corfu

Heaven on Earth! Quiet location surrounded by the sea and pine trees. The view is unique! The modern villa is perfectly integrated into nature. I could stay here forever! Spacious and comfortable rooms with dining room well equipped. Two bedrooms have a spectacular sea view. Literally 30 steps to the beach and taverna. from the house garden. Everything is well maintained and extremely clean. A fabulous experience!

A stunning property in a beautiful setting. The listing details are very accurate. The host was incredibly helpful when all our flights were cancelled and very easy to deal with. It is walking distance to a small minimart and a number of different taverna's and the marina including one on the beach at the end of the garden. We did not need a car as its easy to get an Uber to Corfu town and there are grocery shops that deliver to the house. We would love to return,

Fantastic Villa......

My family and I had a fantastic week in Artemis’s beautiful house. We loved the house and all it’s pictures and different decorations. It was like a house with a history..... The outside dinning place and barbecue was close to the kitchen and very easy to use. The lounge set close to the beach was practically our place for the hole stay. It was nice to take your own 20 meter walk path down to the beach, take a quick swim and then go back to your own private terrace....... We can highly recommend this beautiful property........ Wonderful house with spectacular view and great location

We had a wonderful week at this villa! The view from the house and the far terrace is beautiful. It’s great that there is a little beach club and restaurant next door. We also went to other beach clubs around the island, rented a boat from the hotel next door for the day for a trip to Paxos and visited Corfu old town. The far terrace was our favorite place to sit in the mornings and evenings and the dining table on the terrace outside the house is a great size and shape for accommodating our dinners for 8 in the evenings. Using the apartment provided us with extra space and was a great addition. Would love to come back!

Beautiful and spacious house with an amazing view

The house has an amazing view of the sea, with an expansive outdoor area, with so many different flowers and vegetation. The house is spacious and clean with two bedrooms with on suites and a 3rd smaller bedroom. There is a private access to a small beach and a great little taverna. There was also this very cute neighborhood cat that hung outside the house, which we all enjoyed. Artemis, the owner was very responsive with any questions we had. Don’t hesitate to book this magical home. You won’t be disappointed. We had a great stay!!! We were sorry to have to leave.

A very special property with private access to a public beach directly from the back garden.Internally, very high standard, particularly the bedrooms and bathrooms. No TV - the host doesn't believe in it. But everyone has laptops / tablets / phones anyway. We did need to watch the Euros Final there and the WiFi is perfectly fine for streaming and also some work Zooms. There was also a strong 5G connection which was pretty fast and a good backup. Aircon works well throughout. The kitchen is a basic galley with coffee machine (bean to cup with a steam wand so you can make a decent coffee and not have to use pods!) and toaster outdoors next to a huge marble table.At the end of the garden is a beautiful seating area with incredible views out to sea, outdoor fridges and other appliances we didn't get to use. The location right on the beach is something really special - the beach gets busy during the day, but is empty early in the morning when it becomes your own private swimming pool.There's a great taverna / bar / ice cream place 30 seconds down the beach & a minimart 10 mins walk.We tended to pop down to the beach 2-3 times a day - swim & chill for a bit and then head back to the house via the outdoor shower. You get to enjoy the beach but you don't have to sit there all day! Artemis, the host, is very welcoming and flexible. She lent our boys a paddle board and also offered to drive us to the supermarket to get provisions as we didn't have a rental.

Great location

Positives: The property was in a great location, right next to a beach with a lovely garden and lots of garden furniture to relax on and beautiful sea views. It was a short drive (15 mins) into Corfu Town and we visited several times. The owner was very prompt in all communications and gave us clear instructions about how to gain access on the first day. It was clean. There was air conditioning in all of the bedrooms but we barely needed it in October as there are insect screens on all the patio doors so we slept with them open. It was lovely to wake up to the sound of the waves. We ate in the neighbouring hotel one night which was a lovely meal. All of our linen was provided, including beach towels. There were a number of supermarkets a short drive away. Negatives: There wasn't much around the neighbourhood close to the villa apart from the hotel and beach bar next to the hotel. There's a marina a short walk away but not much there. I think it would be somewhere you would definitely need a car. The inside kitchen was very small, only room enough for one person, but we did self cater for a couple of nights. When the hotel next door puts on evening entertainment, it's like you're there, there's no getting away from it! (Fortunately only on two nights). Overall a lovely week away, thank you.

Very disappointing

The villa has an amazing view. With a wonderful restaurant on the nearby beach. When we arrived the air conditioning wasn’t working in the whole of the down stairs and an upstairs bedroom. There was a heatwave and weather warnings. The host organised for an engineer to come 24 hours after we first reported the issue. We said we wanted to move jf it could not be fixed and they were reluctant to give a refund until we got VRBO involved. By which time it was too late to move and no availability anywhere to accommodate our family. They were unable to fix the air con so we had 5 very uncomfortable nights. The host said to me why don’t you just sit outside (it was 40 degrees) . I asked if they could organise some portable fans and she said no. Be aware if you have children sharing bedrooms there are no doors on the en- suite bathrooms. There are plastic lined sheets in the bed which are really uncomfortable. The coffee machine was good. The outside seating area at the end of the terrace is beautiful however the garden would benefit from some care and maintenance. The neighbours were lovely and very helpful but have 3 very noisy dogs. Very easy access to beach although this is not the best beach on the island .Finally not the hosts fault but double check your filters as we put swimming pool in our search and it was only after we booked that we realised it did not have a pool. This was not good value for money compared to other villas we have stayed in in Greece

Unfortunately, due to the weekend timing, it wasn’t possible to replace the unit immediately despite our efforts to bring in an engineer. The plastic-lined mattress protectors are used for hygiene reasons, as is standard in high-quality accommodations. It’s unfortunate that you declined our offer to refund the stay and assist with relocating to another Airbnb or hotel.
