Despite some negatives other reviews have mentioned about the neighborhood dogs and the grounds being slightly run down, we had a fantastic week in Villa 2. We were the only guests all week (August off season) and were able to enjoy the pool (the pool man came and cleaned twice) and the secure grounds with our dog. The Villa is close to town and the beach, had parking for our van, was overall clean, the bed was comfortable, and water was provided as well as towels, dish towels, soap etc. The host was friendly and the price was great for what we received. After 5 months of travel it was just what we needed.

We were only there the one night.. so focused on checking out todo santos..But very much enjoyed our stay. We had our happy hour out by the fire pit.We enjoyed meeting our neighbour and her lovely dogs. It would be a great home base for staying in Todo Santos for days to weeks.. You are relatively close to everything . Clean, cozy, nice setting. We did not use the pool.. as we were only there the one evening. But it did look inviting.Next time..

Positives:- Antonio the host was super responsive. - Casita #2 was large, with vaulted ceilings. It had a kitchen, but we didn’t use it. No seasonings. The aircon worked & the king sized bed was very comfortable. Large bathroom with good water pressure & same high ceilings however no ventilation, windows had to stay open (they did have screens) so it was warm & we kept the door shut. The TV was large, but the swivel didn’t turn well. It faced the sliding door, so you had to prop something behind & lean if you stayed on the bed.Questionable:- There was a HUGE for sale sign on the gate so it looked like we were at the wrong place. It threw us off. - The gate was locked, but the main door was unlocked and so was the lockbox to the casita. There was a large family using the pool & looked like we caught them when they weren’t supposed to be there. Antonio confirmed we were the only ones staying there so not sure who they were. There were several LARGE dogs in front of the property who were aggressive with cars but seemed fine with us. - The pool seemed nice but we never used it. It only ran late at night & we couldn’t figure out how to get lights to stay on. The pool is in front of casita #1 so if anyone was staying there it would be awkward to use it.- You need a car & it’s not close to the ocean. Walking is not recommended. Roads are mostly dirt & sand & at night there’s not a lot of light. Federales patrolled at night in full guns. A 4x4 all wheel drive vehicle is best.
