We thought the cabin was clean, roomy, appliances worked well, lots of dishes and cooking utensils. We caught fish off the dock, the kids loved this. The pontoon was awesome. The walk to the beach was not described as well as I wish it would have been. There was a steep gravel hill and quite a distance. Going up the hill involved a stop to rest for the grandparents. One of our group had a difficult time with this. I think it is important to have this more clearly described. The lake is beautiful. Lots of chairs at the beach and the house.

Thank you for staying with us and for taking the time to share your feedback! We’re glad your family enjoyed the cabin, fishing from the dock, and especially the pontoon. It’s always fun to hear when the kids are catching fish right from the property! We appreciate your comments about the walk to the beach. For future guests, the waterfront is accessed by a nice, wide gravel path rather than a long set of stairs, which is common at many lake homes in the area. We include photos of the path in our listing so guests can see the access before booking. We also allow golf cart access down to the beach, which can be especially helpful for guests with mobility concerns. Thanks again for choosing Sandy’s Beach House. We’d love to have your family back! Jon B. and the Manage Cabins Crew.

Cabin was nice and view was pretty. A little bit of a downhill walk to beach. Had everything we needed but would be nice to have a washer and dryer. I missed that in the listing but all other amenities as listed. Friends are thinking of booking for their own family gathering after staying with us. Overall a good stay.

Property pics for inside were accurate. It was clean and kitchen had everything one would need. It allowed dogs which was a plus.Outside patio area could have used clean up of weeds, but it did have nice view of lake, as it sat up on hill from lake front.

Beach Fun

Great place for the family to relax, play, fish, and boat. The highlight was the awesome sandy beach area. The kids had a great time building in the sand and swimming in the lake. Lovely evening sitting on the patio around the fire pit.
