We had excellent and prompt help from the hosts, and we appreciated being able to eat several meals with them. The cabin had everything we needed and was very clean. For some reason, neither of our I-phones was able to access GPS in that region, so we were handicapped in finding nearby sites —until we finally found old-fashioned paper maps for that region.
There are people you meet along the way that are something special, and Maxine is just that. Gracious, helpful, passionate, fun, and kind. We had a blast with her at the saloon nearby and she went out of her way to make us feel welcome and spend time with us. I thought I had left an expensive item behind and she went out of her way to look for it. (It turns out I had it with me).She cooked a lovely breakfast for my boyfriend. The casitas are clean and let us get some good rest and relaxation. Love the location to the Cochise Stronghold and Willcox! The property is very unique and the chapel is quaint. I can't say enough good things about our stay and highly recommend!!
The Hidden Oasis is just that. It’s a cool, funky little village hidden away. The casita was clean and was a great space to relax! It is a bit far from Willcox and the wineries, so plan on driving a little while.
Great little spot hidden away but central to many activities. The hosts were friendly and welcoming making for a very easy and comfortable stay. The casita had everything I needed and more and the grounds were fun to explore. Highly recommend
Had a great time at Hidden Oasis. Had dinner with Max and Chad the first night. They were extremely welcoming and pleasant conversationalists. The Chicken Parm may have been the best I’ve ever had. We also had breakfast on one day, fresh eggs were awesome.
Other than being a little difficult to find, it was an enjoyable place to settle as we explored the area. Thank you Maxine for helping us find our way.
Max is an awesome host. Breakfast was super yummy with fresh eggs. The cabin was comfortable and cozy. There is a little chapel on the property. Also a couple of ponds that you can relax by. At night she has bond fires with all guest are welcome to come. Im definitely coming again. Thank Maxine and Chad

Love this place! Unique and fun!
Maxine and her husband definitely have the gift of hospitality. My husband and I felt like they were welcoming long lost friends when we arrived. The casita (the 2 bedroom) was great - it was decorated with old knickknacks and cool pictures. Having a full kitchen was very nice too. The location was perfect for sight seeing in Tombstone, Bisbee and Douglas. If you are interested in ghost towns, there are several near Tombstone that don't require 4-wheel drive. The weather was perfect - much cooler than Phoenix. They have 3 casitas so this would be a perfect place for a multi family vacation. This was a million times better than a hotel. We will definitely stay here again.
The quiet of the property is amazing! You can actually hear birds singing rather than traffic. Hosts are terrific and very hospitable. The property is enchanting.
We absolutely loved our stay at the Hidden Oasis! The owners were kind and the property was lovely. We enjoyed doing yoga and reading in the yoga/chapel/library and watching the chickens scratch around in their yard. Thank you!
I'll begin with Max(ine) & Chad, who were so warm and gracious during our stay. Casita #4 was absolutely adorable, bright and airy and stocked with everything we needed. The beds, including the sofa bed, were very comfortable. The grounds are full of surprises and fun to explore. You will love your stay here.
This is a clean, comfortable, colorful, quiet, funky place and I absolutely loved it! The grounds were immaculate and so was the casita I stayed in. Maxine and Chad were very welcoming and helpful but not intrusive at all. It was the perfect get away - plenty of wide open space to ride my bike. The Cochise Stronghold, which is not far away, was a beautiful place to hike and explore. The only reason I gave 4 stars on the location instead of 5 was because there are train tracks very close to the property but they are in a "no horn" zone so it wasn't much of a disturbance.
Clean and colorful. Maxine and Chad are great hosts. And all around super friendly people.
Out in the middle of no where. Fenced yard. Comfortable and pleasing to the eye. Looking forward to coming back next year.

Just Exactly What We Were Looking For!!
In setting up our vacation to Arizona we wanted first of all to be in a place removed from all the hustle and bustle of the big city. We wanted peace and quiet but to still be within driving distance of new and different things to see. The Hidden Oasis met every one of our needs. Peace and quiet but still within easy driving distance to Benson, Willcox and Tucson. I10 took us just about everywhere we wanted to go. Plus our hosts, Maxine and Chad, were very gracious and accommodating. I don't think we ever found either one of them in a bad mood! Great people! great place! We were not real anxious to leave.

It was good for what we paid.
My husband and I stayed here for 4 nights while exploring southeastern Arizona. When Maxine found out I was pregnant, she was nice enough to upgrade us to the two bedroom casita at no extra cost. The main reason we stayed here was that it had a kitchen so we could cook our own meals. While the size of the kitchen and appliances available were just what we needed, the kitchen lacked utensils for us to cook with. There was one pot and one frying pan, however no spatula or anything besides eating utensils to cook with. We used a fork to cook our eggs and potatoes!
The description of the property mentions it is by active train tracks. In my mind that meant a train went by every so often. Sadly this wasn't the case. Since it was right by an actual crossing all the trains blew their signal each time they went by. Trains seemed to run all day and all night, sometimes with only 15-30 minutes between passings. Not much they can do about that but its worth a mention!
As I mentioned, we stayed in the 2 bedroom casita which could easily sleep 4 people with the two beds there, however, I was thankful it was just my husband and I since the bathroom lacked a door. Well, it had a sliding/closet type door but it didn't give much privacy. To get to the bathroom you had to go through the closet of the bigger bedroom and on the wall right across from the toilet was a heater with vents and you could see right into the bedroom, or the bedroom to the bathroom.
The property itself is adorable, Maxine was very helpful answering questions before arriving, and the caretaker on the property was very nice as well. It was in a great location for what we needed for our trip. A fix of the bathroom situation and some cooking utensils in the kitchen would have helped our review. Not much can be done about the trains sadly!

Great location! An easy drive to the Dragoon and Chiricahua mountains.
The accommodations we're not as advertised. Although it was clean and comfortable
The owner and caretakers were friendly and helpful
Some amenities need to be improved.
We stayed for the month of February and enjoyed our stay very much. The facilities are acceptable although somewhat Spartan. I would recommend the facility to those looking for comfortable housing at a reasonable cost.
