About this property
Cosy & Central, Flat by the Sea!
Welcome to 1 Long Entry, Lyme Regis, we look forward to hosting you.
This comfortable seaside flat has been renovated to a good standard. It's a lovely holiday home for up to 4 people plus a sofa if an extra person stops over for a night. It's a two minute walk to the beach where Mary Anning once walked and collected her fossils!
The space
On the ground floor of the building, with private entrance and direct access to the terrace and panoramic views of Lyme Bay. It's situated in Church Street, central Lyme Regis.
Close to everything, and there's a private off road parking space free to use.
I've included some basics for when you arrive, and I have tried to include everything you need to get your holiday and stay off to a good start.
I won't be welcoming you in person but there's a secure way into the property, an easy access door can be used, or via terrace gate entrance with two steps in.
Private off road parking space is a short walk away, a bonus for Lyme Regis, especially in the summer.
Bedroom one has a king size bed. Bedroom two has a double bed. All the beds have firm mattresses along with the bedding and are very comfortable. There's a hairdryer in the top drawer of the cupboard in bedroom one.
There's a well equipped kitchen, with all the crockery, cutlery and glass ware you will need. There's an electric hob and oven, a fridge, a kettle, toaster and an ice machine. There's also an espresso machine and cafetieres, for that all important morning coffee!
We provide some essential condiments such as salt, pepper and sugar, tea and coffee.
There's also a music amp/speaker box and a smart television for alright entertainment. Games and books also there.
The sitting room has a large comfortable sofa and an electric flame looking fire. There is a selection of books for you to enjoy whilst visiting. In the kitchen cupboard there is a fossil hammer for you to borrow and take to the cliffs for the obligatory fossil hunt.
There's a dining table which seats 6 people and when you arrive will be the Welcome Book with things to do and recommended restaurants around Lyme Regis.
The bathroom has a full sized bath with shower and is newly refurbished, clean and fresh.
Please bring your own beach towels.
Thanks so much for looking at my listing.
Guest access
You will have full access to the ground floor flat, with its own separate entrance. There is another door inside of the flat that leads to the communal entrance, this for emergency use only or if you can check with me first if you are elderly needing it no problem, but our lovely neighbours are peaceful upstairs.
As part of the property being situated on the ground floor it is in line with the outdoor terrace area, with a few steps up the view from the terrace across Lyme Bay is simply stunning. An outdoor picnic bench is there for you to use, this is communal and our lovely neighbours may say hello. Sit back and enjoy the scenery along with the palm trees in the foreground.
Other things to note
I suggest children are below walking age, teenagers or above. There is a steep drop in the garden and wouldn’t want anyone to get hurt.
I do not cater for animals in the flat. It is a clean and fresh environment and rather it stay's that way.
