Smogorjow-Prjawoz, as the village is called in the Sorbian language still spoken here, is an ideal starting point for exploring the unique landscape and special traditions of the Spreewald. Very interesting excursions include the Spreewaldtherme spa (2 km), Burg-Spreewald (5 km), Berlin and Dresden (approx. 100 km), and Tropical Island.
