Quiet and private upstairs location is perfect for relaxing after an invigorating day of exploring the great outdoors. This unit offers a fully-equipped kitchen, stocked with all the cook- and dishware you could want. The living room has a wood burning fireplace, flat screen TV, and an attached outdoor patio.
The master bedroom is furnished with a King bed, flat screen TV, and a full master bath ensuite. In the area adjacent to the kitchen, there is a Twin day bed, along with a full bathroom.
The loft offers a 1 Queen and 1 Full Futon.
Crestview Condominiums is a full-amenity complex, including an outdoor Jacuzzi, sauna, and a recreation room (pool table, fireplace, TV, piano, communal BBQs, and communal coin laundry room). Assigned parking for 1 car is included in the underground parking garage. The Village is a short, 10-minute stroll (less than ½ mile), which gives you access to restaurants, shops and nightlife. You can also walk to The Village gondola to access Canyon Lodge, or take the free shuttle.

TVs are over 20 years old, with very poor picture quality and remote control didn't work most of the time. 3 Toilets without single toilet bowl brush. Me and my kids have to use toilet paper to clean the toilet, discussing! I'm not sure if there is a laundry room in the building, i didn't see anywhere on the check in procedures or property amenities.Everything else was OK.
There were 5 adults and it was great we each had our own bed and 3 bathrooms were an added plus! Cooked breakfast and dinner there and it had all the necessities. Loved that the trolley stop was right out front to easily get to and from the slopes. Will definitely be back!

A lot of space for it only being a 1 bed + loft. Having 3 bathrooms was very nice, overall we had a great stay. Underground parking was so convenient when it was snowing.

Clean with everything you need for a Mammoth stay (including movies and board games). Really close to the shuttle to village / canyon, there was even overflow parking for extra cars. A+

We loved the location - easy shuttle right outside property to canyon lodge and 10 minute walk to the village. Comfortable, clean, simple lodging with big dining table, comfy living room couch, three bathrooms and a few extra futons available if needed. Nothing overly fancy but well taken care of. And the parking garage definitely came in handy during all the snow we got!
Place is great, with 3baths and about 5 beds on 3 levels, plenty of room to spread out.
Original decor except Kitchen (newer) makes for a cozy mountain vibe. 3rd floor and no elevator, so be ready to carry your gear up stairs.

The place is great with spaces, places to sleep, bathrooms, and being in a convenient location. Instructions for arriving and getting settled were super clear.
The only trouble we had was getting the place to cool down. There were plenty of ways to warm the place for cold months, but we couldn’t figure out or didn’t get info to cool the place down for the warmer time of the year we were there.

The property was perfect for our needs. There are lots of beds for flexibility of sleeping. Although the place is not big and pretty outdated, it is setup well. One item I wish they would have mentioned is that the master bedroom doesn't have heat and you will need to either keep the door open or use the space heater they provided. Not a big deal but it caught us off guard.
Kitchen is small but has most of the necessities. However, don't expect any leftover items like spices, oil, etc. There was barely any salt and pepper and we ended up buying what we needed.
Property management company was responsive and easy to deal with when we called for a few items.
Location was great as it was a straight shot to Canyon Lodge on Lakeview Road. Otherwise, the bus stop was right outside the building which we also used. The parking garage is tight so if you have racks or a bigger car, be aware. We had a Navigator and it fit.
All in all we had a good stay.

Unfortunately, we are unable to provide grocery items such as cooking oils, spices, salt & pepper, plastic wrap or aluminum foil, however if the property owner or prior guests choose to leave these items we do not remove them. Grocery items are very expensive and operationally impossible to manage. Many guests would simply take the entire inventory on departure. We need to be able to provide single use, sanitary products to guests, in exact quantities for each arriving guests; and the costs have to be included in the flat cleaning fee (and agreeable to everyone).

This condo was nice but I sadly wouldn’t stay again. It was nice and worked for the stay but I’ve come to mammoth now for over 10 years and this condo unfortunately was not one I enjoyed. The reason is it was not very clean or updated. It felt outdated and the upstairs area felt dirty and dingy. Sinks, carpets were old and the tv doesn’t have a guide. Had to stand and switch the channels at the side of the tv. Unfortunately the condo needs updating

We appreciate this guest's feedback and we are pleased to report that this condo has been updated since this review. The carpets are cleaned regularly and as needed. There is a tablet in the unit that contains a property guide, which includes TV, Wifi, check in/out instructions, nearby places to eat, etc.

Property was a great location, lots of space. Parking garage did not say it was extra low and our vehicle did not fit, had to walk pretty far. Bed were not comfortable, although management was very quick to offer to drop off mattress toppers to help which was very nice. Condo was up 2 flights of stairs, which you had to carry everything up.

Beds are one of those things that is VERY personal. Some people like beds more firm, some more soft. One guest will LOVE the beds, and the next might hate them. We do not get bed complaints often about any one property, if we did we would encourage the owner to replace the bed. Nonetheless, from time to time we have a guest/bed match that doesn't work. If that happens for you, PLEASE CALL US! We stock a variety of toppers to help you achieve restful sleep during your vacation. In the most extreme cases, we do keep extra mattresses in storage and may be able to swap out the mattress temporarily for your stay and then return the original after you depart. Hopefully we can help you find a better fit.
We are available pre-booking to help ensure you book the best property for you, but travelers need to be an active participant in that process. If a particular feature or amenity is important to you (such as needing to park an oversized vehicle) please contact us pre-booking to confirm the property you are considering will meet your needs. Obviously we can’t change the garage clearance height of a condo complex, but be aware most premium properties in Mammoth offer underground/covered parking and a large truck with off road suspension will have trouble parking in most of the older construction in town. This is my second time staying in this cabin and I feel the same way as last time! My family and I were comfortable in the cabin and the location to the village is the best part.
My friends and I had a wonderful time in this cozy cabin/condo. It’s close to the mountain and the hot springs. Jacuzzi felt great after a day on the slopes. Owner was very responsive to any questions I had. Would totally stay here again.
Overall impression was a little mixed.
Important Positives -
Comfortable beds to me are #1 priority and the beds were comfortable.
Very quiet clean complex.
Great location. Convenient to hiking and town.
I cook, so I was pleased with the quality of pots and pans as well as stock of dishes and utensils. All appliances were easy to use.
Instructions to guests was thorough and complete.
Important Negatives (to our family).
Lighting.... the ad shows a bright condo when in fact every light needed to be turned on and was still dim. My husband had difficulty just reading next to the lamp on the couch.
Heating - it took the first two days to get the chill out of the condo and we tend to keep our home set to 65 in the winter during the day. Our first night we found the master bedroom very chilly. The second night we found the extra heater in the closet, which kept it more comfortable at night.
The pantry was pretty empty, but there was sugar, oil, paper towels, dish soap, dishwasher pods, and coffee filters.
I would have liked to have a few extra dish towels, cleaner for the counter and table, and plastic wrap for storing leftovers.
Overall, it was comfortable and spacious. Everything worked, including bathroom outlets. The condo was clean, safe, and quiet.

When we arrived we had no electricity in bathroom outlets. Manager said we should chech fuse box and reset gfi. We Reset the fuse and gfi but still bathroom outlets did not work..
Then at the end of our stay the entire county had no electricity. Very frustrating.

I am so sorry this guest was inconvenienced and misunderstood what was going on. Mammoth Lakes is located high in the mountains and surrounded by millions of square miles of wilderness forest. As you may recall, last year a downed power line in Paradise, CA started a raging wildfire that burned the entire town to the ground in about an hour. Due to the risk of a similar fire here, our power company has begun shutting power off to the town when we have extreme wind events (very common here). These safety power outages are county-wide and we have no control over them. (I do personally approve of not risking burning the town to the ground). This has happened twice in the last year.
With regard to the GFI issue, I spoke with these guests myself. They tripped the breaker repeatedly running too many hairdryers at once. We instructed them in how to reset the breakers and they informed us the power came back on (while I was on the phone with them). They never contacted us again to complain about tripping breakers and the power continues to work fine here. I think they were confused by the area power outage which took place the day after they arrived.
