Thank you so much to the lovely family who owns this unit. The kitchen had every appliance a cook could want. Beds were warm and comfortable. The decor is tasteful and woodsy. We really enjoyed our stay!
We had a wonderful stay. This was a great corner 2 bedroom unit with a balcony and amazing views. Easy access to Eagle Lodge and the lift, and also came with a ski locker to store our equipment for the duration of our stay. The kitchen was well stocked and we really appreciated the cart to load and unload our car. Instructions on the owner’s iPad were so helpful and made everything easy. We were able to use all of Juniper Springs amenities too. Would definitely recommend and stay there again!
Condo was as described with beautiful views and easy access to bike trails and close to the village, grocery stores, etc. We enjoyed our stay and would recommend the place.

This corner unit at Juniper Springs is beautiful! The interior was clean and spacious, and the views from the windows and balcony were gorgeous. I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to anyone visiting Mammoth. Thanks for a great stay!

We came in right for a major snowstorm and had such a memorable trip. Nothing beats walking out your front door and boom you’re at the chairlift! Magical. The inside was cozy and had everything we needed to keep busy and fed during the storm. Will be back for sure.

Amazing condo
Couldn't have been happier with my stay, and the service provided by 5-Star. The kitchen is extremely well stocked, the towels (including pool towels) were plentiful and the electronics -- TV, satellite, XBox's, etc. -- were nice for our few hours of "down time". And a large deck with beautiful mountain views! I definitely plan on booking this unit again.
Property is very nice. We had a great time at Juniper Springs. Had been to this property before. Maintained well. You can tell the owner takes pride in their investment. Only negative (although I was warned), was the we’re not blankets. With the cost of the rental and cleaning fees going up, I thought it was a bit cheap to not include blankets. Otherwise, always have a great time there.

We are so sorry you were inconvenienced during your stay! We always strive to make every guest stay as perfect as possible, inspecting every property twice between every departure/arrival. Our staff are human of course, and so even if we hit 95%, that still leaves some issues from time to time for guests to contend with.
THIS GUEST STAYED PRIOR TO THE END OF THE STAY HOME ORDER ON JUNE 16. THE STOCKING PROCEDURES ARE NOW BACK TO NORMAL, PRE-COVID STANDARDS. However, at the time of this guest's stay, we were still operating under the CA Guidelines for COVID-19. These regulations required that all blankets and soft fabric items present in a property must be laundered at high temperature whether it appeared to have been used or not. In a home of this size, the cleaning bill for such a cleaning would cost hundreds of dollars, and even at that our local commercial laundry does not have the capacity to clean bedding for a management program of our size.
Our modified stocking procedures for COVID19 were explained to this guest up front, in all our ads, on every page of our website, in our rental contract (guests had to initial the section specifically), in the check-in instructions, and again in a final email we sent 48 hours prior to arrival. Throughout the emergency, we kept a stock of fleece blankets for emergency use when a guest didn't read our numerous warnings, and are happy to deliver them to the property when needed (at a small fee simply to cover our cost to launder and deliver them).
Again, its not about us being cheap. We could have provided the original heavy top bedding at a laundry cost to the guest in the hundreds of dollars. We could have provided fleece blankets for $8 each which would have been much cheaper for the guest. We informed the guest well in advance of all of this, and they didnt ask us any questions, or request any advice or help.

We have been taking family trips to Mammoth to ski for nearly a decade. This property was exceptional! Beautiful interior and furnishings, excellent kitchen with everything you will need or want, pool/spa, onsite lattes (for your coffee lovers), but the best thing is the location. You are literally steps away from the Eagle lift. We used the lockers on the first floor overnight which easily stored four sets of adult skiis and a snowboard. We picked up our gear in the morning and walked 5 min to the LIFT. It was so convenient. Finally, there is an onsite shuttle that will take you anywhere you want to go around town in the evenings. The was super convenient and the driver was engaging and friendly. As noted by others, parking a large vehicle is tight and you need to park on the top level of the garage.We loved our stay and highly recommend the location for your stay!

Spectacular view. Great end unit location. Nice dining table and benches. Kitchen pans nice. Major appliances nice. Other than that, the unit is over-crowded. Throw Rugs did not appear clean. Pillows pretty used, sheets not nice, duvet had comforter bunched inside. Hanging Tapestries throughout collect dust. Too many pictures on the walls. Lots of wood flooring pieces and other items visibly stuffed under sofa bed in family room. Cabinets full. Kitchen appliances nice but some unnecessary and counter room minimal with too many items/appliances. Walls with multiple clocks, multiple small tables, so much stuff! Owners may consider taking a lot of stuff out of this nice unit so renters have room to live in it even if for a long weekend.

Regarding the concerns about the cleanliness of the throw rugs and the presence of dust, we apologize for the inconvenience. The guest stayed at the end of a record winter ski season with the most snowfall ever recorded in the area. As a result, the home experienced limited fresh air circulation due to closed windows and consistent use of fires for warmth this past winter. During the busy winter ski season, we may only have hours between guest stays, which limits our ability to perform major cleanings like sending heavy blankets and rugs for professional commercial cleaning. We can assure you that we conduct regular, seasonal deep cleans to address these issues and provide a refreshed environment for our guests.
Condo was a perfect size for 4 adults. Great views and would be an awesome location when the Eagle lift is spinning. Kitchen had tons of baking supplies, it could use a few more cooking/stovetop items.
I did have to wash the dining room table as it was a little dirty when we got there.
Also there were no pantry items (salt, pepper, cooking oil). Not a complaint, just sharing so other guests are able to plan appropriately.
Feedback:
Grill listed as an amenity but it’s a communal grill by the pool, not in-unit. This could be clearer in the property description.
One of the emails from property mgmt said that there were no day-of lift ticket sales, which was inaccurate. I’m guessing this was a pandemic rule at one point but has since been rescinded. This just created some unnecessary confusion/complexity for guests without ikon passes.
Overall enjoyed the stay and would stay in this location again.

Unfortunately this guest was confused and was making requests of the front desk staff, which have no relationship to our operation. (When traveling to Mammoth and staying in any vacation rental it is helpful to understand the relationship your vacation rental manager has to the property. The VR manager you book with has a contract with the owner of the individual condo, and is responsible for the studs-in portion of the condo (interior only) while the complex usually has its own maintenance staff (paid for by the Homeowner's Association) who is responsible for the studs-out (or anything exterior to the condo you booked). This means that every condo in Mammoth may be managed by different companies, and in our case if there is a front desk on property, its managed by a totally different company who will not service you, and who do not speak for us. When speaking with any on-site staff, please be aware they are not employees, agents, or representatives of Mammoth Five Star Lodging, unless they are in our uniform.)
We do provide a tablet in the unit where you can make requests, and our toll free number is posted throughout our pre-arrival emails and in the unit. We monitor that number 24/7 and are responsive to emergency calls overnight. Our office is open from 9am to 6pm daily for all guest needs, emergency or otherwise. This guest just misunderstood who he needed to reach out to. We did become aware of his needs and we did reach out hime on three separate occasions to answer his questions about towels and to offer help with the TV. We were surprised his review didn't acknowledge that.

The condo was very well appointed, with a stocked kitchen, very clean and extra beds so everyone could sleep comfortably. Location was excellent and check-in/check-out were super easy. Would definitely stay here again with our family of four.
Great location with great views! The unit is nicely decorated and equipped. If I could make one recommendation, I would get a different sofa for the living area. I realize it's a sofa sleeper but its way too deep and firm to get comfortable. Realizing it's the main sitting area, I would definatly get different sofa.. Otherwise we enjoyed the unit and had a great time.

The perfect place for families looking to spend time together.
Overall, a good property.
Very thorough instructions.
Good location of condo.
Some utensils and main table were dirty and sticky. In fact the instructions stated that dishes will be left in the dishwasher as evidence that they were cleaned but the dishwasher was empty. Which is not a concern by me but some utensils had to be re-washed.

Due to COVID regulations kitchen items were pared down to minimum essentials and those were to be delivered in the dishwasher to demonstrate they had been cleaned. However those regulations had been reminded by the state prior to this guests arrival, and the entire kitchen stock returned to the unit. We no longer leave dishes in the dishwasher because we are no longer stocking minimum essentials.It is not possible to deliver an entire kitchen full of utensils in one dishwasher, so this policy has been eliminated. Since we no longer hand inspect and wash everything in the unit, there remains the possibility of a prior guest cleaning and putting items away on their own, which may not be to the standards the rest of us expect. We do not mean to suggest we inspect the entire kitchen stock between each guest, that would not be possible.
