Sunny Beach is the best location and this house is the perfect choice for the family or group looking to get away and enjoy easy access to a clean, quiet beach which is only a short drive from all that the city of Galveston has to offer. Beautiful 3/3 with space to sleep 12 located only 400' from the beach and only a 5 minute drive to the west end of the seawall. The inverted floor plan (kitchen and living area on top floor) provides for great views from the living room and upper deck. When ready to prepare feasts for your group, enjoy the fully equipped upstairs kitchen and island with beautiful granite counter tops and stainless steel appliances or utilize the gas grill on the ground floor (perfect for making s'mores as well!). When ready to relax, enjoy the spacious upstairs living area with comfortable couches, a large wall-mounted HDTV (with Xfinity Cable), and a raised ceiling. Or simply unplug and enjoy the gulf views from the upper deck while feeling the breeze and hearing the surf crash.

The large downstairs master bedroom has a huge, tiled, dual-headed shower that you will love. Both downstairs bedrooms have immediate access to the lower deck through their own sliding glass doors. All bedrooms have their own small flat screen HDTVs with Xfinity Cable service. With three bathrooms, each secondary bedroom essentially has its own bathroom just steps away.

When ready to venture out from the house, all that Galveston has to offer is close by. Looking for a clean, quiet beach? A 5 minute walk will land you on the beach in front of the neighborhood that is closed to motorized vehicles. This beach is great for those looking for plenty of space to enjoy the beach without the crowds.

Looking to enjoy all of the delights and activities that the city of Galveston has to offer? Being the closest west end beach neighborhood to town, we are only a short drive to hundreds of restaurants and attractions such as:

- Seawall
- Pleasure Pier
- Schlitterbahn
- Moody Gardens
- The Strand
- Mardi Gras
- Dickens on the Strand
- Convention Center
- Golf Courses

Looking to fish? There is great surf fishing right in front of the neighborhood. If the surf is too rough, we are only a 5 minute drive to the fishing pier on the seawall and are within a 15 minute drive of most wade fishing or boat launch locations on the west end of the island. Of course, there are also plenty of great local fishing guides for those who want to leave the work up to someone else and just enjoy the catching. For those with kids who like to catch fish, there is a tide-fed saltwater pond (can see it in some of our pictures) that holds all kinds of fish (as well as bait for those with cast nets) right next to the neighborhood. Redfish, flounder, croaker, piggies, and crabs are routinely caught out of the pond. The pond is a great place if you are looking for somewhere to put lines in the water for your kids with high odds that something will bite. They may not catch any keepers but they will most likely catch something.

Our house is located on the end of a quiet street and we do ask that all renters be respectful of our neighbors. Therefore our rules regarding no high school or college parties are strictly enforced.

We loved our stay here for the 4th of July! This location is a short drive to all of the activities and eats but far enough to feel like you're away from crowds on the beach and traffic of a holiday weekend! The home was clean and comfortable and had plenty of room for our group of 6. We loved the game closet, open area concept living room/ kitchen area, and sitting on the porch listening to the waves!

The house was very clean and well stocked with everything we needed, which I really appreciate. It was a short drive to all kinds of restaurants and activities, and the beach was no more than a 2 minute walk. We had a great time! The house was perfect for our my 6 teenage boys I had with me! We loved the location, close to town but on the beach! You can hear and see the waves all day from the porch. The house was clean, great decor, functional and easy to keep clean! We will be back!

The Beach House was just what my family needed. I rented the property last minute for my family to have a place to gather while attending to a family member who was rushed to Blocker Burn Unit at John Sealy. Easy accommodation for a weekend getaway. Lots of beds. Stocked w essentials…toilet paper, paper towels, dishwasher pods, trash bags. Nice hangout area…kitchen/dining/living space. Not beach front, but might as well be. Super easy access. Plenty of hoses, nice outdoor shower. No cars allowed on beach in front of property which is nice.

Great getaway!

We loved our stay at this home in the Sunny Beach area. The house was perfect for our family of 5 adults and 3 kids. It's close enough to town to drive in for activities or to go to the store but far enough out that it's peaceful. We realized when we got there that they have made the beach at the end of 8 Mile Road closed to vehicular traffic. Not a huge deal but we had planned to park on the beach then carry our things to the private beach in front of the neighborhood. There was good, quick communication with the owner throughout the process of booking and staying there.

Family Friendly Fun

This beach house accommodated our family of 10 very well. We enjoyed the porches with views, the kitchen was well equipped for cooking and the beach access was a very short and easy walk. I think it could be described as a 3 tier location, 3rd row of houses from beachfront. The private beach was clean and not crowded (June). We will remember this fun stay and hopefully come again. The host’s response time was remarkable and the house was very clean, designed well and comfortable.

Wonderful getaway!

My family and my sister’s family stayed here for a much needed getaway. This location is super close to the beach and has ALL the amenities! The bedrooms are spacious and comfortable. There is a deck off both bedrooms downstairs with a view of the ocean and a Jr her one upstairs with a table - perfect for eating or playing games at night! The living area is spacious and our WiFi access even with a bunch of teenagers and devices was great! The kitchen is fully stocked with dishes and appliances to make meals. The owner was super fast to respond to questions. We had a wonderful experience and will definitely be back!

Expectations Exceeded!

The representations of this property were very accurate. The layout was perfect for our three-family gathering. We had plenty of room to have our own space, but also a very large common area for our time together. The property was very well stocked and equipped. A few bonuses, for us, that aren’t available at all locations: A concrete driveway and parking area - so much better than parking on dirt/sand. Plenty of trash cans, inside & out - a group of 10 generates a lot of trash. Plenty of parking space. A modern kitchen with plenty of room to operate. We were pleased with the entire rental process, and our stay, from start to finish.

We are beach lovers and have rented in Sunny Beach for family vacations for many years. When the chance came up to own a home in the neighborhood we could not pass it up. Not to mention that this particular house has all of the comforts and space that make spending time here extra special.

What makes this property unique

The inverted floor plan allows for maximum enjoyment of the available views. The open layout, high ceilings, and flood of natural light allow you to get the full enjoyment of being only steps away from the gulf.
