About this property
Historical Stone Manor-Upper Floor
This magnificent stone manor is located in Kiafa, a 15 minute walk from the harbour. It was built by Italian architects in 1620, with the first floor having been redone in 1842.
The property has been fully renovated and modernised to very high standards but its original character has been respectfully retained.
The house on the the first floor measures 105m² and has a separate entrance. It is open plan and consists of a large living room with high ceilings and a fireplace, a fully equipped kitchen (Italian with SMEG appliances), a dining area and up some steps, a lounge area.
Outdoors, the 85m² terraces invite you to enjoy fantastic panoramic views of the city and the port of Hydra, the sea, the mountains of the Peloponnese and the neighbouring islands.
In addition, an external staircase leads to a beautiful 105m² terrace with a breathtaking 360º view.
The house on the ground floor measures 185m², with 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a fully equipped kitchen (Italian design, SMEG appliances etc.), dining room, large living room with fireplace, wood oven and a storage room. Outdoors, a beautiful landscaped garden offers superb sea views and dining and lounging areas under its two pergolas. The old stone wall and arches emphasise the charm of this secret garden.
