About this property
CASA MEZTITLA - full house/casa completa
Relax in an Award-Winning Architectural Retreat in Nature!
Welcome to your perfect escape, an award-winning home celebrated for its design, innovation, and commitment to sustainability. If you're seeking serenity, stunning views, and a deep connection with nature, you've found the ideal hideaway.
Nestled at the slopes of the El Tepozteco Nature Reserve, this architectural gem blends harmoniously with its natural surroundings. Let your senses come alive as you relax in the swimming lane beneath the treetops, soak in the jacuzzi facing majestic mountains, or cook and gather in the open kitchen with a central island. Enjoy a barbecue at the outdoor grill, gather around a bonfire under the stars, and discover a variety of terraces, patios, and tranquil hidden corners throughout the property.
The house comfortably sleeps up to 8 guests across four double bedrooms:
Two master bedrooms feature a King- and Queen-size bed, large full-body mirrors, and wooden sliding doors that separate the sleeping area from the private bathrooms. Each room opens to a private furnished patio that blends with the room by simply opening the door-window.
Two spacious twin rooms offer two single beds each, abundant natural light, and access to a shared central patio with hammocks, perfect for lounging or an afternoon nap.
Every bedroom includes ample closet space with shelves and hangers, as well as their own private bathroom with a shower.
What You Should Know:
- Access: The road leading to the house is unpaved and may be challenging for low-clearance vehicles. Please plan accordingly.
- Pet Policy: We do not allow visiting pets. Our property is home to five friendly large dogs and one cat, who roam freely in the common areas. If you're not comfortable around animals, this may not be the best fit.
- Natural Landscaping: Our garden reflects a philosophy of wild, native beauty. We prioritize eco-conscious landscaping in harmony with the local ecosystem. Do not expect lawns or decorative gardens.
- Sustainable Amenities: Energy saving is important to us, therefore the jacuzzi is solar-heated and water temperature depends on weather conditions. On cloudy days, it may be cooler. The swimming lane remains refreshingly cold year-round.
- Daily Breakfast Included: Enjoy a daily homemade breakfast, prepared with fresh, local ingredients. We are happy to accommodate vegetarian and vegan options—just let us know your preferences.
- Housekeeping: While we keep all common areas clean and neat during your stay, we do not offer daily housekeeping or domestic services.
