Welcome to Villa Serena, a beautiful holiday home for 8 people with a private heated pool, located near the medieval castle of Najac, in the Aveyron department in the southwest of France. This stunning stone property, recently renovated with respect for the building’s rural origins, is nestled into a hillside on a 8,000 m² plot of land.



Interior: Charm and Character

The house is spread over three levels: the main living area is on the first floor, while the bedrooms are divided between the ground floor and the second floor. Traditional charm is present throughout, with exposed stone walls and carefully preserved wooden beams. The open-plan kitchen and dining area is filled with natural light and opens directly onto a covered terrace — ideal for enjoying meals outdoors. The second floor is entirely dedicated to two beautiful master suites, each with a private en-suite bathroom. The other two bedrooms are located on the ground floor, including a lovely double room with direct access to the garden and pool — perfect for those seeking a little more privacy.



Exterior: Space and Serenity

A lush setting and panoramic views of the surrounding countryside await you. The large private heated pool (10x5 m, max. depth 2 m), open from May to October, is partially shaded by trees that provide natural cool spots. A raised wooden deck has recently been added to the side of the house — a fantastic place to relax and take in the scenery at any time of day. The garden is beautifully landscaped with abundant greenery and flowers, creating a peaceful and harmonious atmosphere that encourages relaxation and reconnection with nature. All amenities are within easy reach in the nearby village of La Fouillade (just 3 km), where you’ll find a few cafés and local shops. Najac, one of the most beautiful bastide towns in the southwest, is only 6 km away and is sure to be the starting point for many outings: the Sunday market, fine dining (from a friendly pizzeria to award-winning restaurants), and peaceful strolls through the medieval lanes. In the evening, a walk through the village — beautifully lit and overlooked by its majestic castle — followed by dinner on a terrace, is the perfect way to end the day.
