Clean apartment and good location, but those were the only real positives. Communication was terrible. We received no check-in instructions through VRBO, and the host was not responsive in the app. I had to find the owner’s WhatsApp number and call, which was very stressful while arriving in a new country. The listing had several major inaccuracies. It said parking was available, but no parking was provided. We had to park blocks away and often spent 30 minutes finding a spot. The owner also told us we could park in blue zones, but we later learned those require a permit and could have resulted in a ticket. The listing said two bedrooms, but it is one bedroom with a flimsy twin rollaway bed in the living room. That is not a second bedroom. There were no instructions for Wi-Fi, trash, or checkout. Getting Wi-Fi info took unnecessary time, and we only handled trash because the restaurant below let us use their bins. The couch was very uncomfortable. The listing also said the beach was a two-minute walk away, but that section of beach has reportedly been closed for about a year and was never disclosed. We raised these issues with the owner, and the only real response was “sorry.” I have never left a one-star review before, but due to the inaccurate listing, poor communication, no real parking, misleading bedroom count, and undisclosed beach closure, I cannot give more than one star.

Het appartement voldoet aan de foto's maar de "tweede slaapkamer" is een slaapbank in de zit-/slaap-/eetruimte bij binnenkomst. De badkamer is best ruim maar de inloopdouche mag wel een opknapbeurtje hebben.De straat waaraan het (en de slaapkamer) ligt is levendig door de terrassen van restaurants (zie hierna) en de doorloop naar de zee. Het dakterras is positief qua oppervlakte en de mogelijk om zon én schaduw op te zoeken. Negatief, voor ons althans, is het geluid. Onder en naast het appartement liggen 2 restaurants en die hebben beiden hun keukenafzuigingen en airco's op het dak naast het appartement (op de website-foto's niet te zien). Dat maakt behoorlijk wat herrie en gaat van 's ochtends 11 uur tot 3 uur en daarna weer van 18 tot 12 uur door :-(We hebben dit 's avonds direct bij de eigenaren gemeld en die reageerden ook direct. Ze hadden hierover ooit slechts één klacht gehad en die werd opgelost. De geboden oplossing voor ons lag de volgende dag in de aanbieding om van een andere locatie gebruik te maken. Beiden nette appartementen maar helaas geen terras of balkon. Omdat het de hele week meer dan 30 graden was hebben we toch besloten om maar te blijven en de tijden van onze activiteiten buitenshuis te plannen tijdens de openingsuren van de restaurants. Na dit gemeld te hebben bleef het van de kant van de eigenaars stil, ook na app-berichten over ons vertrek.
