An absolutely perfect getaway!
The cabin is everything we wanted and then some! Quiet, serene, romantic—just a few words to describe it. I highly recommend it to anyone considering. We’ll definitely be back!
I was looking for a place out of the Phoenix area that was currently 113° and looking for higher elevation with cooler climate, reclusive and with incredible views. I certainly found it in this hidden gem . A wonderful place for artists or writers needing inspiration. You will not be disappointed. I’m sure I’ll be returning once again.

Adventure of a lifetime :)
Our stay here proved to be an adventure of a lifetime, all packed into 5 weeks! It was so beautiful at the cabin and it had everything we needed. It is something else to be able to sit on the porch and look over green mountain prairie that fades into the mountain peaks beyond.; and be able to do that every night for 5 weeks.
The owners of the cabin were so helpful, and we can't thank them enough for their kindness and help. What an incredible experience we had. God Bless!
Clean and nice secluded cabin on the mountain. A fun getaway. Beautiful views. Just an hour and a bit from the city. Hosts were very responsive during the booking process and afterwards. Though it’s located in a secluded location, you can still drive for under 20 minutes and get to some nice local places to eat and drink. Hope to return soon.
i can't say enough about our fabulous stay at the cabin! every little detail was considered with the amenities. the quaint space and solitude was exactly what we needed for the week! nature provided a stunning backdrop with plenty of entertainment from birds, cows and shooting stars! the icing on the cake was the farm cat, Carmel, who quickly became our constant companion. we look forward to returning to this little piece of paradise tucked away in the mountains!
Wonderfully quiet peaceful cabin overlooking the mountains.
Really enjoyed my time up at the cabin. It's just far enough away from town to be very peaceful and quiet but yet everything is close and the place feels super safe. Cabin has everything needed for one person or a couple. It's small but it gets it done and the front porch is where you'll spend a majority of the time. Very nice breeze out front. Also AC in the cabin to cool it down a little. Would definitely stay here again. Hosts were super pleasant and communicative. Thank you!
We came back for our first anniversary as we spent our honeymoon here. So perfect, I am so glad we had the opportunity to stay here again. The cabin is very small, but perfectly clean and fun to be in. It’s the perfect size for a couple, at least, in my opinion. ;)
This was a cozy and remote place to stay while we explored the Prescott/Jerome/Sedona area. The surroundings were beautiful and serene, and it was a great place to relax. We enjoyed legit tranquility there.
An amazing property with spectacular views! The hosts were very helpful and went above and beyond with nice little amenities. Definitely want to go back!
We were not disappointed in our quest to get away from the crowds. It could use a night light in the bath room, and hooks on the wall to hang out coats. We loved it. Would stay there again.
My wife and I went here for our honeymoon. It was perfect! No one in view when you walk outside, and the view is gorgeous. The cabin was extremely cozy and very clean. The host was gracious and very responsive. I would HIGHLY recommend this little cabin. Yes, the road is bumpy and not paved, but our mustang made it just fine…:) we will likely be returning to this wonderful cabin!

Don't want to leave! So peaceful and relaxing. We arrived to this cute getaway in the mountains to beverages and ingredients for a dinner. The cabin is very clean. The shower was hot and perfect pressure. First day and half we didn't leave. Cooked our meals sat on porch and took in the beauty of area, sunrises, sunsets and stars. Then spent a day in breathtaking Sedona about an hour away. Just a perfect getaway
If you are looking to get away from it all, this is the PLACE!!! It is a very quiet place because you won't see anyone and it is very beautiful to just sit outside and read a book. It is on a dirt road that is maintained and easy to travel on, just slow down. I would stay here again in the future.
I stayed alone in the cabin at Cordes Lakes for 29 days, and the peace and quiet there was just what I needed after an insanely busy and stressful year. I spent every morning on the deck sipping coffee and savoring the mountain view and stillness. The evening celestial views were stunning, complete with coyotes barking in the distance. During the day I'd head out to Prescott or Sedona on some type of adventure or errand.
It's a 2.2-mile gravel ride from the highway to the cabin, and it can be a bit bumpy in spots. I don't know if I'd do the drive with a low-profile vehicle. And it's a bit of a drive into Prescott Valley and the familiar stores.
The cabin itself was just the right size for me. The bed was super comfortable, the shower always hot, and the couch was great for a tall guy to nap on. The air conditioner did a great job keeping the place cool, even on those near 100 degree days!
I'd go back for sure. I think it'd be interesting to experience the cabin in cooler seasons.
It was heaven to get away from the bustle of life to this remote yet accessible cabin to write and hear myself think. The cabin was beautiful, just the right size, and the owners had thoughtfully left some "starter" food for me for my stay, which is above and beyond what was advertised. The night sky was clear and the stars much more visible than in the city. I would definitely (and hope to) stay there again!
