Welcome to Spedlins Castle, a 15th-century fairytale fortress set high above the River Annan in beautiful Dumfries and Galloway. Perfect for family holidays, celebrations, or a unique group getaway, this historic home blends medieval charm with modern comfort across four spectacular floors.

Inside, the Great Hall steals the show with its soaring vaulted ceiling, minstrel's gallery, and grand fireplace. The dining room seats up to 14 guests—ideal for special dinners—and the well-equipped kitchen offers a cosy space for casual meals.

There are six bedrooms in total, including a fun dormitory room for children, three bathrooms, and a mix of romantic doubles and charming twins. Quirky turrets, antique furnishings, and reading nooks make every room feel unique.

Set in 4 private acres, the grounds include a tranquil lake, gardens, and access to the River Annan—great for wild swimming, picnics, and riverside walks.

Whether you're lighting a fire in the Great Hall, exploring secret staircases, or simply relaxing under the stars, Spedlins Castle offers an unforgettable escape.

Please note: Due to the original spiral staircases, the property isn't suitable for those with mobility issues. Children must use the safety rope provided.
