About this property

Loft apartment in the heart of Cranbrook

St. David's House was a coffee tavern in the 1880s. It's located in the bustling heart of beautiful Cranbrook, close to Union Mill, a working windmill which you can see from the bedroom. A minute's walk takes you to local pubs, restaurants, cafes, and independent shops. The Apartment is spacious, with an open plan kitchen/diner/lounge, bathroom with bath & shower, one bedroom with King size bed, & a comfortable double sofa bed in the lounge if needed. The kitchen is well equipped with induction hob, electric oven, microwave, dishwasher and washer/dryer. The lounge/diner is furnished with two sofas and an armchair, a log burner, TV with Amazon Firestick, desk, and a dining table to seat four. The Apartment has full fibre broadband with 500mbps up/down speed. Private secure parking available, or there's free public parking. Well behaved pets are welcome, and there are lots of routes for dog walking.

The Apartment is the ideal location for exploring Kent's treasures. Sissinghurst Castle & Garden is close by, as well as many other National Trust properties such as Scotney Castle, Bodiam Castle. and the home of Sir Winston Churchill, Chartwell. Kent is the centre of English winemaking and brewing with famous vineyards such as Chapel Down, and Shepherd Neame, the oldest brewery in England, both worth a visit. The medieval city of Canterbury and it's ancient Cathedral thrills visitors with an interest in history. Or just take a drive and meander through the lanes and oasthouses to visit Kent's historic and lively market towns, and award winning coastal resorts. No visit to Kent is complete without visiting our unique pubs serving local wines and beers, and traditional pub food.
