Positano is amazing for its beauty and hilly terrain. But, it is loaded w people and vehicles of all kinds and there are only 2 roads to drive on. In addition , the hilly walks are profound. I have drive; in that area before but have stopped and we got experienced drivers to take us.Our villa was wonderful and very roomy and the hosts were fantastic.

Santa Caterina villa is stunning, and everything was that we needed was provided and more (including food and drinks in the pantry and fridge). The hosts are a Positano family and local business owners who are very responsive (10-15 minutes away, helping with luggage), and give the property an amazing story of generations of ownership. The location is halfway up, giving great access up and down to the best places. I cannot recommend this property enough for a high-end Positano experience.
