Orchard House is a detached flint cottage in the pretty village of Great Walsingham, 10 minutes to Wells, Holkham and their fine beaches. We are ideally placed to visit the North Norfolk coast and nearby attractions.

Village cafe and 2 pubs, a store and farm shop within a mile.

Double aspect rooms throughout provide a bright and airy feel to the cottage. The large kitchen includes an AGA, separate cooker, small breakfast table and leading into the garden and the dining room which seats 6 comfortably. The sitting room seats 8 with 2 sofas and 2 armchairs.

2 Freesat TVs with Netflix, one 50", 103Mbps WiFi.

Professionally serviced with hotel quality linen and towels.

Each bedroom has a wardrobe, hangers and hairdryer. Iron and board, drying rack, safety gate provided and high chair, cot available.

Please call or text any time to discuss staying at Orchard House, which we built with a local architect in 1990 and have rented out for holidays in the last 3 years with great success. We particularly like to host families and stay in touch before and during your stay.

We will send you our Welcome Letter which provides all the information about the accommodation, local services and attractions. The kids will love the Stiffkey ford at the bottom of the lane!

Up to two small adult dogs are welcome.

A lovely spot in the heart of the village and well positioned for exploring North Norfolk. The house is a good size and would suit 2 families as there are bedrooms on both the ground floor and the first floor. The furnishing is comfortable albeit dated, but the house is well equipped. Although dog friendly, the hosts specifically request that dogs do not run off lead in the garden. There are lovely walks right on the doorstep however, we especially enjoyed walking up through the ford and on towards the church. Don’t miss O’Brennans who serve delicious food and the best cup of tea I’ve had in ages! We very much enjoyed our stay.

Orchard House is a family home and we have been in Walsingham for over 60 years; a wonderful location in the golden triangle of the North Norfolk coast.

What makes this property unique

The house was designed by a local architect some 30 years ago using traditional materials including flint work by one of Norfolk's best at the time.
