This looks like a fantastic apartment in the photos. However, it did not live up to those expectations at all. The cleaning of the apartment appears to be left to the previous occupants. The check out process specifies that you must wash and put away all the dishes. In our case, the previous occupiers appeared to have just put the pots away without washing them and this had not been checked. It is very noisy from what looks like a quarry very close by - they start work at 6.55 every morning - and lots of building work also going on. We spent the first night with one of the back doors unlocked because the lock was broken. Although this was rectified the following morning, maintenance promised to return the next day to rectify the broken bed, terrible smell of drains in the kitchen and broken sink plug. Despite waiting in, and several further messages, nothing was done and we didn’t see maintenance again.We bought an air freshener and put up with it. The apartment is in a residential area and you have to drive round the back of the building to access the door. Because of the extensive building work all around the apartment block, on five out of the seven days of our holiday the builders had blocked one end of the road with their crane and closed the other end with a barrier. There are signs saying keep the external doors closed but they were always left open which meant anyone could walk into the block. We did not feel safe due to the area and the lack of security.
