Perfect escape at the coast of Paradise beach, Jeffreys Bay, South Africa

I’m a South African, born and bred in Gauteng, and I’ve always loved discovering the beauty that our country has to offer. Through my travels, I fell in love with the Eastern Cape — its beautiful coastline, breathtaking beaches, warm weather and relaxed way of life. It was this love for the area that inspired me to make the move from Gauteng towards the coast and to embrace everything this beautiful part of South Africa has to offer.

I love travelling and experiencing new places, and my own experiences have taught me just how special it is to find a place where you can truly feel comfortable, relaxed and at home, even when you’re far away from your own home.

That is exactly what I want to create for my guests.

I enjoy being a host because I love making people feel welcome and cared for. My hope is that when you stay here, you won’t simply feel like you are staying at a holiday house, but that you will experience a genuine “home away from home” — a place where you can relax, feel comfortable and enjoy your time away.

I’m also passionate about showcasing the beauty of the Eastern Cape and sharing the wonderful experiences that South Africa has to offer with people from across the country and around the world. Whether you’re here to unwind by the ocean, explore the coastline, spend time with loved ones or simply take a break from everyday life, I want your stay to be a memorable one.

For me, hosting is about more than providing accommodation. It’s about sharing a beautiful place, extending warmth and kindness, and helping people feel at home while they discover a new part of South Africa.

I chose this area because it offers something that is becoming increasingly precious — the opportunity to slow down, breathe and reconnect with nature.

It is a beautiful, scenic coastal area with pristine beaches, spectacular ocean views and a wonderfully peaceful atmosphere. The beaches are clean and uncrowded, and the coastline is known for its excellent waves, making it a popular destination for surfing. Being close to the warm waters of the Indian Ocean makes the experience even more special.

What I love most is that it is a small, tranquil coastal community away from the rush and bustle of the larger towns and cities. There is a wonderful sense of space, privacy and exclusivity here. It feels like an escape — a place where you can leave the noise and demands of everyday life behind and simply enjoy the calm.

The natural beauty of the area is also something I deeply appreciate. The surrounding fauna and flora remain wonderfully intact, giving the area an authentic, unspoilt character that is increasingly difficult to find.

One of my favourite things to do is simply take a walk to the beach. It is less than a kilometre away, which means the ocean is practically on your doorstep. There is something incredibly refreshing about being able to step outside, take a leisurely walk and find yourself standing on a beautiful beach within minutes.

For me, this area is about peace, nature, fresh air, warm Indian Ocean waters and the simple pleasure of being close to the sea. It is the kind of place where you can truly switch off, relax and enjoy the beauty of South Africa’s coastline.

What makes our property special is its elevated position on a beautiful coastal dune, giving guests a wonderful ocean and horizon view from the spacious deck. It’s the perfect spot to watch the sunrise, see the waves rolling in, enjoy a meal or relax in the jacuzzi while taking in the peaceful coastal surroundings.

And every now and then, nature puts on an extra show, with schools of dolphins passing through the area. These special moments, together with the ocean views, tranquillity and connection to nature, are what make our property truly unique.
