About this property
Unique caravan in a beautiful wildflower meadow. Private and in a peaceful area.
The caravan is a vintage gypsy caravan which has a separate bathroom next to it. The caravan itself is open plan, light and spacious, it has a living room area at one end, a dining area and a bedroom with a spacious double bed. The kitchen has an electric cooker and fully kitted out small kitchen.
It is located in a beautiful wildflower meadow, which is surrounded by a mix of native wild trees and fruit trees. There are lots of birds and wildlife in this area too. And we have many ancient sites in the surrounding countryside. There are numerous beaches within a 20-30 minute drive. With the closest beaches only being a 10 minute drive away. There are two towns closest to the caravan, St Just and Penzance. St Just has some great small shops, art galleries, cafe's and pubs. Penzance is bigger and has a range of supermarkets, other shops, restaurants, cafes, pubs, and a lovely partially heated outdoor lido on the seafront. There are a range of places with takeout options, if you wanted a quiet evening at the caravan, but didn't want to cook.
St Ives is a beautiful old seaside town with lots to see and do! It is slightly further away, but still easy to get to. I especially recommend driving to it along the scenic north coast road. It has many beaches and is great for a day out, with everything you need easily accessible.
If you are a keen hiker I can recommend the south west coast path which is easy to access at many nearby locations along the coast. There are also many lovely gardens you can walk around.
There are great boat trips you can enjoy from Penzance or St Ives. And a ferry, helicopter and small airplanes that can take you across to the Scilly Islands for a day trip or longer stay.
The beautiful Minack theatre is only about 30 minutes away and is a unique arena with seats cut into the stones of the cliffs at Porthcurno, with the backdrop behind the stage being the stunning views over the ocean. It is a theatre and music venue.
There are also a huge amount of different options to choose from if you want to eat out, including great restaurants which serve locally caught fresh seafood and locally produced meat, fruit and vegetables etc.
If you are looking for a place to come and retreat from the fast paced modern life for a while and just be surrounded by nature. This is the place for you!
It is also in a dark skies area, so the night time skies are amazing to enjoy while sat around the fire pit.
I can also run tailor made nature connection/ forest therapy sessions for guests who are interested in this.
