Ground floor: Living room with comfortable sofas, bay window and log burner which extends into a dining area. Cottage-style kitchen with range cooker, dishwasher, and utility room. A modern shower room, perfect for washing off those sandy toes after a day at the beach. To the rear of the cottage is an enclosed courtyard full of vibrant vines climbing the pagoda.
First Floor: A luxurious king bedroom styled elegantly throughout. Down the hallway a contemporary double bedroom with views over the rolling countryside.
Second Floor: A fabulous principle bedroom with roofscape view complimented with a glimpse out to the sea. A family bathroom with shower enclosure and unique bath positioned to appreciate the evening sun from the south westerly rear window.

The place was clean, comfortable, and exactly as described, with a really welcoming feel from the moment we arrived. It’s clear a lot of care has gone into making it a relaxing and well-equipped space. The location was great and suited our stay perfectly, and everything we needed was provided. Communication was easy and friendly, which made the whole experience smooth and stress-free. We would happily stay here again and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Sunnyside to others. Thank you for a lovely stay!

Fabulous property in the heart of Kingsand
Beautifully furnished accommodation throughout, with a lovely south facing courtyard garden that catches the sun all day.
I’m not sure how long since the last guests left? But we arrived to find the upstairs bathroom toilet unflushed, which was not a welcome sight!
We also arrived to a very cold property, to find the boiler was not working. This was thankfully rectified the following day, to our relief. I was surprised that neither of these issues were discovered by whoever checks over the property, prior to our arrival? The garden is sadly lacking any care, as was our experience last year. The patio was unswept with dead leaves and general garden debris. The raised beds were covered in bindweed, strangling any planting. Unfortunately, it spoils the use of the garden and generally lets the property down. Last year we enjoyed glorious weather, so we spent time clearing it all, so that we could enjoy the outside courtyard. We managed to fill a dustbin full of bindweed. Finally the kitchen tap was awkward to use, as it was not secured to the work surface and consequently moved around every time you tried to turn a tap on or off. There is also a bit of a trip hazard in the lounge/dining area, when a rug has been laid over the carpet and is curling at the corner. An attempt has been made to secure it with double sided tape, which has lost its adhesive. Consequently it is definitely a bit of a problem, as it is just where you walk through the house. Perhaps the rug could be turned, to a corner which does not curl up? I hope these are helpful points, as it’s a lovely property
