We were on a narrowboat vacation out of Falkirk and used this as our first night so we could get to the wheel early the next day. The host was great ("the secret to locking a door in the UK is to hold up on the handle while you turn the key") and there was a small Indian take-away shop a few doors down with good prices and friendly service- I now love Irn-Bru. Thanks to our host for a restful start to an excellent holiday.
