Beautiful bright apartment completely renovated 110m² in the heart of Périgueux

3 bedrooms, 1 bathroom, 1 shower room, 1 WC, sleeping 5 people (exceptionally 6 with the owner's agreement), downtown apartment.
South, southwest exposure. Charges included apart from heating.

Haussmann apartment completely redone in late 2013 (complaints, interior doors, fireplaces and original parquet floor which retains all its charm - thermal and sound insulation) in a building located on one of the beautiful squares in Périgueux.

This apartment consists of a large living room (living room, library (armchair replaced by a Karup futon 1 sleeping place), dining room, kitchen (very bright), 42m², a first bedroom of 13m² ( 160 bedding) accompanied by a shower room (2.60m²) with large shower, a second bedroom of 14m² (160 bedding - Ethernet socket), a last bedroom of 10.5m² (90 bedding), '' a large bathroom of 6.6m² + shower and cupboards, an independent WC and a balcony surrounding the whole apartment.

Wonderful vacation!

From start to finish, we enjoyed our stay. Francis and Veronique were very welcoming and responsive to our every need. We were able to easily walk everywhere. We highly recommend this apartment for a stay in Périgueux, however long your stay.

Wonderful stay in Perigueux

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful apartment. Situated a short walk from the centre, it is an ideal location to explore Perigueux and the Dordogne. The property is well appointed, bright and airy with a lovely balcony, and Francis a wonderful host - who kindly bought us fresh flowers and a bottle of local wine to welcome us. A very enjoyable week!

Perfect Apartment in Historic Perigueux

Excellent stay at this wonderful apartment in Perigueux. Easy communications with very helpful and welcoming host before and during my stay. We had a totally enjoyable stay at this apartment. It is spotlessly clean, spacious, comfortable and is equipped with everything you could ever need for a relaxing stay in the heart of a beautiful city. Parking is easy all around the surrounding streets and the neighborhood has all the shops and restaurants you will ever need. Francis is the perfect host - helpful and friendly. Everything was perfect and we are looking forward to planning a return visit as soon as possible. I would have no hesitation in recommending this property and host. It would definitely be our first choice when visiting this region again.

Wonderful apartment, perfect location and host

I absolutely loved this apt. and the old city of Perigueux! Everything I needed and all the activities were within a 2 to 15 minute walk - post office, grocery store, walking tours, bakeries, restaurants, everything! I have stayed in several VRBO rentals over the years, and Francis is, by far, the best host I have ever met! He is so caring, attentive and helpful, and can’t do enough for you. He communicated regularly to be sure everything was okay with my stay. It was a wonderful month’s stay. Thank you, Francis, for sharing your home and for being a true Superhost!

Perigueuex Gem

We have just returned from our holiday in Perigueux. We were at the apartment for two weeks . The apartment owner Francis, was extremely attentive and warm. We have stayed across Europe in various Vrbo's but this was the first time that we found an apartment that was so well equipped , beautifully furnished ,and spacious. The apartment is conveniently located within walking distance to the Old town. Those interested should try St Louis restaurant and best sorbet in our opinion Herve Robin. We had an amazing time and Francis's is apartment is well worth the stay. Thank you Francis.

Lovely break for weary travelers

We arrived in Pèrigueux hours later than expected after our bus broke down and we had to catch another. Francis had been waiting around for us all day but was very warm and welcoming. The apartment itself is beautifully decorated and if you love to cook, there is everything you could ever want in the kitchen. Beds and pillows were super comfortable, the balcony goes all the way around, I could go on and on... Francis's place exceeded expectations and we felt "at home" from the moment we walked in. We appreciated all the little touches. Francis was very friendly and easy to communicate with whenever we had a question or a problem. We were sad to leave!

Comfortable, well appointed apartment

Very nice three bedroom apartment, recently renovated, very comfortable. Owners were very nice and accommodating, even with the language barrier. Prompt email replies. Fun to be able to look over the neighborhood during the day. Very little traffic at night. Easy walk to restaurants and shops. Charming town. The apartment is located across the street from the police station. While there was little to zero noise associated with law enforcement, the station is open 24 hours a day. Weather was warm so we had the doors open at night. Officers talking and taking continuous cigarette breaks all night just on the street below was annoying. Plus kind of wanted to go over and put some WD-40 on the squeaky precinct door. Would recommend this property to fellow travelers. Easy day trips to Sarlot, Bergerace and scenic cliff side towns along the Dordogne River.

Hello, pleased that the arrangement and location of the apartment gave you satisfaction.  This location, opposite the central police station has advantages and disadvantages: the benefits are that you can easily find a place safe for her ca,r to walk home in the middle of the night without being bothered. The major drawback is that you have narrated in your appreciation (we already intervened with the direction of the Commissioner to address these noise). To remedy this, we also planned the installation of air conditioning, which for now has been denied by the condominium ; so be aware close the shutters of the three bedrooms in the day so the heat does not penetrate into the apartment and so do not need to open the windows at night ; we also made available two ventilation colones in the large bathroom, but maybe do not you find them ? I hope that despite these annoyances, you had a good stay in Périgord ! Delighted to have met you ! Francis and Veronique Fournier of Laurière

We had a fabulous time in Perigueux staying here. The apartment is very centrally situated with shops, restaurants, train station and services all within easy walking distance - yet also in a quiet and peaceful street. The host, Francis, is friendly and attentive and has truly thought of everything to make your stay comfortable. From arrival to leaving all aspects of our stay was perfect. The accommodation is beautiful - spacious, clean, comfortable and very well equipped with everything you could ever need for any length of stay. A real home from home. I would completely recommend this accommodation for anyone travelling to the Perigord region.

Dordogne - at last

The apartment was exactly as described, spotlessly clean and superbly equipped. It was very tastefully furnished and decorated, and Francis and Veronique were very welcoming, and took great pains to show us round the apartment, and how to operate the dishwasher/washing machine, etc. There are a number of bars and restaurants within a short walk. On-street parking could be problematic, however there is a large underground car park 5 mins. away where we were able to leave our hire car safely parked overnight, for less than 7 Euros. Notwithstanding the ongoing heatwave, we had a great holiday , using Perigueux as a hub. Should we return to Perigueux, we will certainly look to rent out this apartment once more.

A truly lovely place to stay

One of the most comfortable and tasteful places we have ever stayed at. Only a few blocks from the historic section with cafes and shops, yet peaceful and quiet at night. Our hosts were so gracious and thoughtful and made our stay in Perigueux special. Highly recommended! The apartment was very well equipped, as well, and beautifully decorated and lighted. A wonderful home away from home.

Très bel appartement avec tout le nécessaire, très confortable, très spacieux. Bien situé dans la ville : près des quartiers touristiques et des restaurants tout en étant au calme.
