Meet Your Hosts – Deniz & Hakan
Hello and a very warm welcome!
We’re Deniz and Hakan, the proud owners and hands-on hosts of The Heritage Villa. Splitting our time between the UK and Northern Cyprus, we are passionate about creating the perfect holiday experience for every guest who stays at our villa.
We take great pride in maintaining the villa to the highest standards – personally overseeing everything from cleanliness and maintenance to the small touches that make your stay feel extra special. Whether it’s answering questions or ensuring everything runs smoothly, we’re always just a message away and happy to help.
As fluent speakers of both English and Turkish, we make communication easy and your stay stress-free. We’re warm, approachable, and genuinely committed to going above and beyond to ensure you feel completely at home.
When we’re not looking after the villa, we enjoy socialising and spending time with our two much-loved chihuahuas and with our friends and family. We believe that a personal touch makes all the difference – and we can’t wait to share our beautiful home with you.
Looking forward to welcoming you to The Heritage Villa and helping you create unforgettable memories in Cyprus.
With warmest wishes,
Deniz & Hakan

Why they chose this property
A Deep Connection to the Place We Call Home
Although
I was born in England, Northern Cyprus has always held a powerful pull for me. I spent most of my childhood and adult years in Famagusta, and it's become a second home in the truest sense. There's something incredibly unique about this part of the world. The pace of life is calmer, the sun shines a little brighter, and the sense of community is second to none.
One of the first things our guests often notice is how friendly and open the local people are. Neighbours greet you with genuine smiles, and it's not uncommon for them to check in on you—not out of obligation, but out of true care and kindness. If you ever need anything, from directions to a tool or even a home-cooked meal, someone is always happy to help. It’s this deep-rooted culture of hospitality that makes Northern Cyprus such a special place to visit—and live.
In a world where people often rush through life, this area invites you to slow down, take a breath, and appreciate the little things: the smell of fresh bread from a nearby bakery, the sound of waves gently crashing on the beach, or the peaceful mornings where the mountains seem to whisper their ancient stories.

What makes this property unique
Welcome to Our Family’s Special Home in Northern Cyprus
Hello and thank you for taking the time to learn more about us and our home! My name is Hakan and I’m proud to be the host of this very special property located in the beautiful and welcoming region of Famagusta, Northern Cyprus.
This house holds a deeply personal and emotional place in our hearts. It’s not just a rental—it’s a family legacy, a place filled with memories, love, and care. Built in 1984 by my father-in-law, this property has a unique story behind it. Interestingly, although he was the one who commissioned and oversaw its construction, he never actually saw the home completed or lived in it himself. That fact alone adds a layer of mystery and emotion to the house—it has always been more than bricks and mortar. It's been a silent witness to dreams, family bonds, and the passage of time.
From the beginning, this home has been a shared treasure for our entire family. It's not owned by just one person, but belongs to all of us—and each of us has poured our heart into caring for it. Whether it’s through ongoing maintenance, thoughtful upgrades, or just spending time there with loved ones, we’ve all played a part in shaping what this place has become: a warm, welcoming space that we're incredibly proud to share with guests from around the world.
