Bella's Barn by Big Skies Cottages
Any Day Entry (excluding Sunday) Minimum Two Night Stay No Pets Parking Beautiful Barn Conversion Wood Burning Stove Walking Distance to Beach Walking Distance to Shop, Cafe, Pub & Restaurant
The Barn
Tucked away in the heart of the coastal village of Weybourne, within easy walking distance of the beach, two fantastic pubs and the village shop / cafe, this beautiful barn conversion is an oasis for couples or single travellers on the North Norfolk coast.
On entering Bella's Barn you are welcomed into the charming open plan living space. With a vaulted ceiling of exposed beams, exposed brick walls and stripped wooden floors, the history of the building is evident throughout. This generously proportioned, yet cosy, living space features a wood burning stove, perfect for snuggling up around after a long day out on the coast and two comfortable armchairs to relax in and watch the television. The dining table and four chairs separate the living space and the modern fitted kitchen.
The well equipped kitchen features an integrated fan assisted oven and electric hob with extractor over, under counter fridge with freezer compartment, microwave, toaster, kettle, sink and a range of cupboards. There is also a washing machine and clothes airer, should you need to refresh your wardrobe during your stay.
Off the main living space is the large bathroom, with a traditional pamment tiled floor, free standing claw foot bath and shower over, WC, heated towel rail, wash hand basin and bidet.
Up the staircase you will find the romantic mezzanine bedroom in the eaves of the barn. Fully carpeted, with a king size bed, built in storage cupboards a chest of drawers and bedside tables, natural light is brought in through two velux windows. Please note that because the bedroom area is set in the eaves of the barn, there is restricted head room to the sides of the bed, particularly on the left side. For most people there is a requirement to bend to get into bed on that side, meaning Bella's Barn will not be suitable for guests with mobility issues. The bedroom offers lovely views down into the main living space from the railings.
Outside
Bella's Barn forms part of a small development of luxury barn conversions and has it's own covered car port, immediately outside the door. There is no further parking on the site and the surrounding gravelled driveway is required to be kept clear for other residents to access. However, if you have guests, there is unrestricted parkign on the roadside at the entrance to the development and nearby in the village.
There are two beach chairs available for guests to sit within the car port, should they wish, or to take down to the beach or surrounding countryside to use at their leisure.
The barn is perfectly located, just a short stroll to two lovely pubs, The Ship which serves excellent food and has a charming beer garden and The Maltings, newly renovated and very lovely boutique hotel, with a fantastic restuarant in their renovated barn. The brilliant village shop and cafe is opposite The Ship at the top of the beach road. The beach is only 10 minutes walk away, with access to fabulous walks in both directions, towards Sheringham along the cliffs and Cley-next-the-Sea in the other, along the shingle beach. Sheringham park is easily accessible on foot or by car and the North Norfolk Railway has a station in Weybourne for you to hop onto a steam train to Holt or Sheringham or just to watch the engines puff steam as the roll by.
